THIS ! is how you do a special Edition !!!

  1. Borderlands: SPecial Edition

and this.

  1. Halo Reach Limited Edition

NOT THIS

Still prefer H4 . . .

Customisation in the form of Skins - Way forward.
Silly material things that brake and can get lost - Way backwards.
In my opinion that is, i would have Map packs and Skins over a statue anyday (With the exception of the Connor coin/pendant from Assassins Creed III)

I think it’s fine once we get the same Halo 4 box as everyone else, not a metal one. I think there should just be a normal box inside of the metal or something.

You kidding, I think those are all awesome editions. Each shares content in a diffrent way, whether its in the form of a toy or media.

1: Swag
2: Swag
3: Eh

I much prefer The Halo 4 one. It’s actual stuff I’ll use.

While I love borderlands. All of that just looks like cheap crap. That you’ll end up looking at once. Then shoving it on a shelf or in a closet.

I prefer digital content over stuff that just lies around and collects dust.

So in my opinion the Halo 4 Limited is much better.

The way I see it, there should be a Standard, Limited, and Collector editions.
Standard for obvious reasons.
Limited for if you can manage to get a few bangs for your buck
Collectors for the hardcore.
And even if there was a Collectors (Legendary) Edition, I don’t see why anyone would complain about it if it has physical collectibles.

I’m not sure why there’s any sort of problem. Seems like the people here just love to complain about anything and everything.

I don’t know about you, but I’m perfectly fine with paying only $40 more to my favorite game series of all time to get all of the things they listed.

You think that Borderlands one is good? That isn’t even the best one.

Borderlands Ultimate edition.

Giving a player a Bunch of digital content is a cheap way to make a boatload of money off of a special edition without actually having to put a lot of work into making it a cool experience.

I think if you look at how lackluster the actual BOXART is for the special Edition is you will actually see what I am talking about.

Unfortunately most of you are 3rd, 4th and 5th generation fans that are too blind to understand what a quality product looks like.

I would like more physical stuff. Like the S-II patch from Halo Reach…being a big fan of the S-IIs and all.

Sorry all I see in Borderland is useless material crap. I have enough of that already. (my whole basement is full of them). I would not mind material thing for Halo but they already decide otherwise.

OH BOY STICKERS!!!

Borderlands 2

Stickers, a Comic Book, a Bobble Head and the game.

Halo 4: 90 minute movie, Pre-order for 3 future DLC map packs, AR Weapon Skin, Spartan skin, Xbox Live avatar goods, and the game.

…Whatever creams your twinkie.

No, THIS is how you do it.

I rarely complain about Halo.

In fact this is the first Gripe I’ve had with the game besides 343i being unwilling to show more of the game already.

If you look at the Halo 4 Special Edition compared to what the Best studios in Gaming have to offer it looks like a steaming turd.

Modern Warfare 2: Night Vision Goggles + other stuff

Black Ops: RCXD Model + other stuff

Halo 3: Spartan Helmet and Box Set Tower

Reach: Statue set of Spartans

Borderlands 2: Loot case, bobblehead, art book, creature chart, stickers, vending machine case, lithographs, cloth map

Halo 4: Oh derp Some download content which will be available otherwise.

Yes but it is not that much more expensive for each of us, we get extra content that we will actually use. Instead of a statue that will collect dust ect.
Oh and the whole generation fan thing is a pathetic comment. How can you tell that? I have been around since halo 1 and want digital/useful stuff. Oh and Fan stands for Fanatic and that is a sad thing to be.
