If you checked your E-mail and it wasnt sent to you. That might be the wrong E-mail address.
To figure out which one it would be sent to go to…
> Xbox.com
> Click “Account Management” in the Top Right Corner of the Screen
> Scroll to the bottom of the page
> Click “Contact Preferences” from the 4th Column at the Bottom Right Corner
> The E-mail address it provides is likely the one it sent the codes too
Just went through this myself, hope it helps.
When you get your Code, Follow the links it sends you to, and Redeem on the website.
A friend redeemed it on his console, which took a bit of work to get it to download properly.
I went there and somehow, i have no email set. The best part is that email never changed for 7 years and im pretty sure they been spamming me with promotions and gold subsciption running out for those 7 years… what gives? Was it really that hard to send it to the MICROSOFT HOTMAIL ACCOUNT THAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO USE IN ORDER TO JOIN XBOX LIVE AT ALL.
Im not sure what to do yet if you didnt get a code on that particular E-mail address. Hopefully they will have some way to contact microsoft about it and so everyone can get their codes.
But i guess this info is for anyone that has an old account (mine 7 years old) and had used an old E-mail address. Or just forgot which one they used.
Checked mine and it was set to an email address that no longer exists. Wow. I hope they email it to the email that’s currently associated with my gamertag. Why does 343 have to give out codes for this crap? Why can’t they do it in-game with a small update? Or better yet, why did they even do this in the first place? This is such a hassle.

So what the hell? Am I not getting a code now since my account was linked with an old email that doesn’t exist? I just changed it, but I just assumed it was linked to the email i sign in with until I checked contact preferences.
Idk what to say other than I wasted my money on a new xbox and a half released game.
They sent mine to my alternate E-mail address, which is linked to a Gamertag that I made to play splitscreen with a friend like three years ago. That’s odd because I thought they only sent them to GTs that had played the game in that three week period. I just wrote down the code and hopefully it will work for my real profile.
Coincidentally today I had to renew Live, and they tried to charge an old credit card that expired in 2007. I’m currently trying to get into my billing options and it keeps signing me in and out between my primary and alternate accounts so I can’t get into what I need. This is starting to become messy…
