Remove BR starts from every playlist as well as some redundant options and you’re getting there.
I feel the playlist should look similar to MCC…
Ranked:
Team Slayer (regular game play, motion tracker, equipment, that kinda stuff)
Team Objective (same as Slayer except all objective)
HCS playlist (mix of slayer and objective with what ever the HCS settings are)
Social multiplayer would have a match composer like MCC where players could pick between 1v1, 2v2, 4v4, BTB and of course the best ever FFA (six players). Then there would be choices of precision Slayer (BR starts), Auto Slayer (auto starts), Slayer, objective, tactical aka swat, fiesta, and action sack.
Then just like in MCC if your matchmaking is a bit to slow, say you picked 4v4 action sack only and weren’t getting games quick enough for your enjoyment you could expand it to another game type say action sack and auto Slayer or whatever. By this time in online gaming we should have more control in our matchmaking like we have in MCC.
You’d think they would learn from MCC… but as usual the loud minority dictates what happens in games… along with the need for $$$.
Maybe they didn’t intend for there to be much of a skill gap with the AR.
That’s why ranked is BR starts.

You literally just said you enjoy a skill gap. So if you want the skill gap go play ranked. “Skill gap” and “casual” are, in fact, mutually exclusive. Pick one and be consistent.
NO!!! Buff precision weapons the AR is finally worth using and it needs to stay exactly the same!

They should just buff most guns. The ravager and commando are undesirable as is and the pulse carbine is literally useless. Idk why the nerfed them to begin with. It just makes the AR the best weapon to use and thats just contributing to this list of grievances about how the AR shouldnt be as good as it is. Truth is, the only thing that makes it stand out so much is how freaking bad the rest of the sandbox is in comparison.
I want a casual playlist just to relax outside of ranked, but yes there needs to be a skill gap regardless. It’s completely mindless and boring otherwise and 0 incentive to get better. No excuse for BTB to be AR either. Let alone people just enjoy themselves with a BR playlist so they don’t have to play ranked.
Don’t tell me what I can and can not like or want. I don’t tell you what YOU can’t enjoy.
I can agree with certain points of your last post. The AR does indeed fire outside of it’s intended range at full auto, and the weapons suck. Then there is the whole list of issues regarding deysnc and hit reg, the crouch spamming which causes even more desync issues (let alone it’s super fast and instant with no heab bob) Just macro and get ez wins.
So then what happens when they finally come out with casual BR starts and people play on them and opt to pick up the ARs that spawn on the map?

But I will bite. If they choose to pick that up over the BR, so be it. You are missing the entire point. We want a casual BR playlist, if you can’t wrap that around ya cranium idk what will. the fact you are so against this, when it won’t even effect you personally blows me ever loving mind. Living in a world of some true specimens.
No thats actually not all that you BR purists want. Maybe its the only thing you specifically want, but in reality, the people who are asking for BR starts are also demanding that the AR be nerfed in conjuction. And that, my friend, was the whole point of that “red herring.” It was a bit of bait to see if you would say that you would want the AR to be nerfed anyway so it wouldnt be a problem if it happened. To which i respond by using your own logic of “telling me what i cant enjoy” to counter it.
But if all you want is BR starts without an AR nerf, im right there with you. Personally i love playing ranked for the BR, but im also fine with AR starts in casual. Custom games matchmaking will solve most of these problems, i’m sure.
