I’ve sat back for a while and read complaints on top of complaints about everything to do with Halo: MCC
This game is the anniversary edition of Halo 2 and the light should shine on Halo 2.
Halo 3 is still very playable on Xbox 360 with MLG playlists.
Also it will get it’s chance in a couple years on it’s 10th anniversary.
Halo 4 is still very playable on Xbox 360.
I know i do not stand alone on this one.
Let HALO 2 shine in this time of it’s tenth anniversary.
Halo: CE, 3, and 4 were an added bonus.
When Halo3 gets an anniversary treatment I’m certain Halo 2 will not be on this disc.
I got my game back but i feel like I’m getting it taken away by adding H3 into hardcore.

That MCC was made for H2A and not all the games being ported to the Xbox One which is a really stupid idea because a lot of people, myself included, bought the game for all of the games.
And even if so, it took 2 months to iron out the campaign glitches and even now the H2A playlist is trash seeing how “ranks” are currently turned off so what’s point of ranks AND worse what’s with it being 5v5? When was H2 ever 5v5? And how does having ten players on maps designed for six make any sense? So yeah after a couple of months the H2A campaign looks great to bad the multiplayer playlist is trash.

Exactly… It’s the Master Chief COLLECTION, not the Halo 2 Anniversary, plus some other Halo stuff.

Halo 3 will most likely have It’s own anniversary edition.
It all goes with saying life is unfair and the true Halo 2 fan base just got bent over
If i wanted to play halo 3 i would turn on my 360 and hop on halo 3’s current servers with actual ranks.

Uh dude? Its called the Master Chief Collection meaning more than one game. And what 343 was trying to do was port over the 4 games onto the Xbox one so that way people could still play them online when the Xbox 360 gets shut down probably in a few years. Stop complaining you got 4 games for the price of one be happy they didn’t make you pay $60 each for the Xbox one version of the games instead they gave you Halo 1, 2A, 3, 4 and access to halo nightfall and the Halo 5 beta. They gave you 4 games for the price of one. That’s why its the Master Chief Collection. And seriously Halo 2 is not the best game out there in the franchise in my opinion out there at least. Good day.

And what do I not understand about the purpose?
i bought MCC for h2A. halo 1 and 3 were a bonus. halo 4 well thats the songs off an album you like that are just ugh and dont get play time for good reason
