Try joining up with a lobby of 4 people. That should help.
I dont play grifball enough to come across that sort of thing, but if you want to fill up a few slots in your team im up for grabs anytime.

I’m going to take a guess and say the other seven wanted to abuse the performance bonus system and sit out the game, and you tried to legitimately play the game. You did nothing wrong here if this is the case, they are wrong for many reasons. Whenever this happens, I would recommend you view each of the other seven player’s profiles, give a profile review and avoid them, ‘Unsporting Conduct’ being the reason and submit.
Then Report each one for Cheating, as abusing the performance bonus system to get extra cR is boosting, and boosting is a form of cheating and hence violates LIVE’s Terms of Use and Code of Conduct. The performance bonus was put in place to make stalemates for people legitimately playing in Grifball worthwhile, but some people figured they can abuse and exploit it by sitting there and doing nothing to get it, which is not what it was created for.
Additionally, when people do this, jam the jump button and forward too, sometimes you will jump as you spawn, their hammer will send you into the air instead of killing you, and you can come down and smash em in turn, naturally go for the players on the opposing team, so the others on your team doesn’t have a reason to avoid you for ‘Unsporting Conduct’ in turn.

mm team killing, i never experienced in halo reach but i did experience it in halo 5 the other day.
