A video made by MetalHeadSpartan brings to light some of the experiments on Argent Moon. This hints to bio weapons,possibly even the flood!
We know cortana EMP’d a HUGE radius,Argent Moon could have been in it. Meaning the containment pods are now offline. Possibly releasing the plague (Or Flood) onto the entire galaxy.This can possibly be the plot line to Halo 6.

I find it funny that the summary for Argent Moon on Halo Waypoint specifics that: ‘ONI routinely experiments with technology retrieved from the Halo installations’ ‘it had been speculated that Argent Moon was one such site’ ‘those suspicions were confirmed’

Argent moon exploded…but that doesn’t necessarily mean whatever was on it,died.
While I agree it could be the Flood and stuff coming from the Halo installations, I don’t understand what EMP from Cortana you’re talking about.
I don’t know if the thing really survived Argent Moon’s destruction anyway, the lab probably blew up along with the rest of the station. Also, recovery efforts found documentation of the biological weapon, but it’s not said what really happened to the creatures and whether the recovery team could salvage anything.
For now I’ll just think whatever was in the lab just died. Though I acknowledge the Flood did survive the destruction of Alpha Halo (see Mona Lisa), so maybe this biological agent is still a threat.

the EMP i referred to was at the end of Halo 5. She took a bunch of ships and MACS and stuff offline just before the UNSC Infinity fled
Yeah but I think that was in orbit over Earth (probably). The EMP wouldn’t go beyond the system, hence the need for hundreds of Guardians to dominate any number of systems over the galaxy.
However, you’re bringing up a good question indirectly: in what system was Argent Moon? Probably not in a human-occupied system, as the AI sent it to a place where no one would find it. It’s clearly in an unknown system, and not in interstellar space, as there are asteroids and there was also light from a star if I remember correctly. Would definitely be interesting to know in which system Argent Moon was.

The whole station is slag. That was a fusion reactor going critical. We saw the blast pulverize a Covenant ship that was too close and nearly cook Blue Team’s Prowler.
Everything inside is atoms.
If they flood are coming back, it’s through the Spirit of Fire. I doubt we’ve seen the last of Argent Moon, though.

Could just be reaching.
If the Flood were on Argent Moon, then those skeletons wouldn’t be there, they’d all be combat forms.

The Flood doesnt leave biomass un-used unless its got an excess of it (ex; High Charity and the bones we see there)
Considering Argent Moon wasn’t covered in biomass…
I feel like if there was flood on that ship, it would’ve been found by either the Jackal Pirates or the Covenant, since they have had a week to search it. I mean “maybe” when Blue Team was overheating the reactor, and there was some flood inside cryostasis or containment, that the flood could’ve possibly escaped the blast, maybe even infecting a few Covenant ships. But even then its quite a wild guess.
Why exactly do so many think that the Asteroidia compound found on Argent Moon is the Flood? It’s been confirmed in-game that it is a human-made biological weapon. And if it was the Flood, we’d have to deal with Combat Forms, there would be Flood spores floating about, clouding up the air, and there would be a hell of a lot more Flood biomass sitting around.
