this is a good game it needs MORE playlists

my ideas are:
1:Elite Dead (infection with elites only)
2:Regicide (Just like Halo 4)
3:Elite SWAT (NR’s and Needlers)
4:Bulgball (Oddball with Elites)
5:RAMPAGE (slayer with elites and spartans they are on the same teams please)
6:Versus (Firefight elites vs spartans Now its fair!)
7:Deathmatch (FFA Firefight)
8:Frienemies (constantly change teams whilst fighting others)
9:Super Campaign (elite players side with the covies and you know the rest)

Sadly 343 no longer updates this game.

One playlist for each player?

They did.
I had a friend with an inappropriate service tag which was allowed until recently.

They just haven’t updated the playlists.

The Service Tag system on Halo: Reach and Halo 4 isn’t only controlled by 343 Industries. It uses the Xbox LIVE censor filter. If something gets updated on that, it gets updated on Halo 4 too.

343 Industries don’t update Halo: Reach any more apart from scheduled maintenance every so often.

In order of how I highlighted:

  1. There was a Covenant vs Spartan version of Firefight. It was called Generator Defence, in which the Spartan team had to defend 3 power generators from being destroyed by the Covenant team (human players played as Elites). But it was removed by Bungie not long after Reach was released due to it being unpopular, although it may still be playable in custom Firefight games.

  2. Although it is a co-oop mode, Firefight is also essentially a FFA mode since whoever has the highest score at the end wins.

Reach already had too many playlists, hence why 343 reduced the number. Coupling a high amount of playlists with a low population results in longer search times in lower populated playlists. The same thing happened in Halo 4, which resulted in 343 giving us rotational playlists. Unfortunately Halo Reach is no longer fully supported (except for routine server maintenance) so playlist updates are out of the question.

Disagreed. More playlists means the community is further divided.

  1. 343 No longer cares about this game
