Sooo act like an adult and use comprehensive thinking I guess? The over monetization of the game absolutely is a problem. 99% of the fan base says it is. Which means it is. What we do NOT need is dudes like you encouraging this crap so the shareholders can say look how happy he is and they never fix it. The gameplay is great. But that’s literally the only great thing about it. There’s problems that need to be fixed and putting 343 in a personal thank you circle jerk isn’t going to get them fixed. The monetization is bad. The progression system is bad. The customization is bad. Quit acting like they aren’t so we can get our damn game fixed dude.

been playing this series my whole life, started playing multiplayer during Reach. yeah kids these days do not understand the fundamentals of how to make games fun, as they have only ever dealt with modern gaming, the worst of the gaming era since the Atari days. my father, 59 years old, says the industry right now reminds him of the industry before the gaming crash that killed so many of the old titans. honestly, i’m glad that this game didnt cave to most of modern gaming’s trends, but the fact of the matter is it shouldnt have taken any of the trends, its halo, not fortnite, lol.
personally, i dont care about cosmetics, i’m happy with the core gameplay and thats it. i hope the devs dont turn on the community, cause honestly i would if all my work was crapped on like this.

To be honest, roughly 50/50. You can easily get frustrated with it but also just as amused.
I will have to see what it is like in the campaign if that is even comparable. I gave up on Infinite’s MP last week. I was having more fun playing MP on MCC. I also got G Gundam BTW. Haven’t watched it yet.

Not if comments like yours gain traction. We complain because we love halo. We want to love this game. We want to support it. But we will not support the bs they’re doing. And they’ve taken effectively no steps to fix or reassure us it’ll be fixed in a satisfying way. When I said this is their last chance I meant it. Since they took over 343 ran halo into the ground. There won’t be another one if they don’t get it together. We’re literally here yelling at them that we will give them our money. But we expect things we want at a fair price. Caving in isn’t going to make this game last. Period.

This is my worry, that they will be vague about how they intend on fixing it, and then they issue a substandard compromise and just tell us to deal with it, that the issue has been addressed.
I try to reiterate in as many thread with this topic or just when it’s brought up that there is nothing “micro” about these transactions. We need to stop normalizing that term and call them macro or maybe MEGA transactions lol

And I definitely agree. I’m not paying 20 bucks for an armor set. But I’ll throw them 5 bucks for one here and there. They don’t seem to get you’ll make more money selling 1000 5 dollar sets than 100 20 dollar ones. Not that the shareholders care. They just want a quick buck so they can move on. They dgaf about the games or gamers.

It really doesn’t help that all the armor that I’ve seen on the store is ugly, and the colors are faded and boring with washed out patterns. Some amazing looking armor with colors that really pop would not be enough to justify 20 dollars.

I gave up on Infinite’s MP last week too. I am not about to grind challenges for a nameplate. I instead started playing Pokemon Brilliant Diamond. Getting much more rewarded with my time in there. Also, hell yeah. You’ll really get a kick out of G Gundam, guaranteed.
