It’s not just insanity, it’s on purpose.
Look bro, 343i mislead us with statements and articles, and clearly chopped up the game so fast and last minute they didn’t even have time to change achievement for the BP.
They tied challenges into the UI so they need to discuss the feasibility of slayer. They released the MP early and free as a low risk/high reward gamble to make truckloads more money and also to use as a shield against criticism since it’s free.
Making us wait for core Halo features like co-op, dedicated MP game modes and forge. Don’t worry though the macrotransaction store is fully featured with 20 different things to purchase with some new products featured each day.
We have no right to be upset with the devs though, no right at all since the community is taking Ske7ch’s statement about threats and personal insults and painting everyone with the same brush.
Idk maybe if they listened to the fans over the last 6 years of making this game from the data they collected from MMC and applied the game to make a good halo there wouldn’t be hatred… Just a thought, maybe don’t spend 6 years making a bare bones, broken, ublananced, microtransaction filled pile and hide a vast majority of the skins, cores, armor, etc. Behind a pay wall…
To be fair, they’re throwing just as much hate our way with their passive aggressive jabs at the community, blatantly lying to us then acting like it’s our fault and overall censorship of anything they don’t want to hear (body types). Honestly, I’m just tired of them constantly playing victim. Everything has to be someone else’s fault whether it be Microsoft’s or the fans. They assume no responsibility for this game and there is a lot more issues with it than just monetization
Both sides are a problem. What you’re doing right now is a problem. 343i failed to fully research into the current ways to properly monetize a game, and therefore I do believe that some top level producers and directors should be given write-ups for cutting corners.
They’ll just promise to not make the same mistakes next time.
bruh what updates? the hand wringing and excuses?
amazing how basically every other game manages to be profitable without being so obviously predatory
there is an excess of evidence that this is either not the case, or worse yet, that this is actually the best those left with the company can produce. history shows they’ve made better by far so im inclined to believe the former
You clearly have no idea on what’s been going on and your last statement doesn’t make any sense
I disagree with the doxing but these “343i did nothing wrong” posts are not helping anyone either.
Calm down kid, Halo aint goin no where.
Microsoft will drag Master Chief’s 50 year old corpse through the dirt and mud until someone under an Xbox studio can finally come up with a better exclusive game idea.
They are fixing their mistakes.
They defiantly are and people are still not happy, the irony
That’s good.
I’m glad they are rectifying mistakes like leaving out slayer in a Halo game.
I’m glad they didn’t repeat the same mistakes with microtransactions from 5, and instead made new more expensive monetization mistakes.
My confidence in 343i is restored.
THE GAME WILL SELL CAUSE IRS HALO. what don’t you herd of sheep not understand??? If the game sells 8 million sales from the campaign, guess what? They meet the budget. You already have fools buying the battle pass validating this nonsense. Oh but you sugar code for what?
You are the one that’s delusional here thinking they are out to mget you and your money and believing they arn’t rectifying there mistakes
You’d want money, wouldn’t you? If you were in their shoes, shape up and do what your customers ask of you so you can take their money. Otherwise, you aren’t getting it.
You are a simpleton arn’t you with no constructive criticisms
You’re right. How dare I expect a Halo game to be rooted in the same gametypes I’ve played for 20 years. That’s so selfish and toxic of me. I’ll be happy playing 1 flag, stockpile, and stronghold until my fingers bleed.
Oh jesus Christ
Monetization aside, how the heck do you convince yourself that a Halo game can exist without a dedicated Slayer playlist?
Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I’m being toxic and mean to 343 again. My bad.
