This has been talked about before. But...

What does everyone think about the release of Console and LE armor?

As a purchaser of LE, I have no preference on what they do with it.

Some people think it should be included in the release of Pre-order armor. Some say they want it to be an early unlock (like they get it unlocked without having to do the work).

There are many thoughts on this topic. What do you think?

I’m getting the LE, but it doesn’t bother me if it all is released at a later date though.

Same. If they released LE and Console to the public it wouldn’t bother me that much, because it would save me the time and money of going on Ebay to get the console exclusive stuff.

I’d prefer it if we just got it as an “early-unlock”, and didn’t have to jump through all the hoops to get it in-game. The two best looking armors (Recruit beats FOTUS, by the way ;P) shouldn’t be locked to the majority of the playerbase. I won’t lie, though; it would be nice to have a couple of months to show off that I bought the LE, before everyone else can have it.

Make no mistake, though, everyone SHOULD get them.

Completely agree.

Self Bump.

More though for the reason that 343i may see this. As they are listening to the community I would like this to be seen.

It doesn’t bother me at all if they choose to keep it exclusive. I am not one to get upset over the unavailability of special armor/items belonging to special editions when they have no effect on gameplay.

No more bumps please, it’s against the rules for a reason.

I pre-ordered the LE at Best buy and the Console at EBGames.

I just want to play the damn game. >:P

I’m fine with what’s in the limited edition.

I guess.

I myself am a completionist though.

I feel like this topic has been beat to death with so many people debating on both sides.

Personally, if i were buying the console i would want what i paid for to remain exclusive to me (considering you drop roughly around $400 for the package). Wouldn’t you?

Now on the other side you have a group who either cant afford it or just doesn’t want to buy a new console (figuring that it would be a splurge of money that i myself wouldn’t want to indulge just for the fact my console works fine)or whatever the case may be.

I can see why people would want it to be released for the non-console buyers for multiple reasons (completion, it looks bomb-diggiity, just because, etc.). but i can see no justified reason to really release it to everyone. it makes it less impressive(lack of a better term). For example, it’s supposed to be loosely related to a unicorn, correct? What if we were just riddled with hundreds of thousands of unicorns…then they would just be a bunch of horses with horns on their heads, no wonder, no magic(ness?).

Now im not 323i or anything of the sort. im just a halo fan, so i cant tell you what they have in store for this magical beast. But what i can say is if everyone is running around with this one-of-a-kind helmet…it doesn’t really make it one of a kind now does it?

Besides! who knows, they may make it unlockable threw some vidmaster-esch way. So just keep hopes up.

My will has collapsed, and I am going to waste my money and purchase the LE… I want that armor. :frowning: But I really want that Fotus armor. :’( Iz so cul

I also agree with you. About a week ago I had the exact same view point as you did now. After a few days of mulling it over, I came to terms that there would be no point in buying the console and I wouldn’t buy the console for a piece of armor because that’s ridiculous.

I also think that if we saw everyone running around with the unicorn armor and emblem it would also dull the uniqueness of the armor and emblem. I want to think that 343i will either keep it exclusive for a month or two then allow everyone to either buy it or earn it (earn it with a really hard challenge). Regardless, if they don’t I’ll have to buy the code off ebay or some other website.

I also think this topic has been beaten to death and talked about to much, but I wish 343i would give us some closer and finally answer this question for all of us.

ok so which armor comes with what? do both armors come with the console AND LE? or does LE get one and Console get the other, if so which one gets which?

I can’t post links because they are considered leaks right now.

Limited edition contains Recruit Armor (and another armor skin, weapon skin, and emblem)

Console Edition contains FOTUS Armor (and another armor skin, weapon skin, and emblem)

Those are the in-game items (excluding avatar armor and prop)
