I have had this problem for over a month now and it’s completely unacceptable. What’s the problem? I’ll tell you, whenever I boot up the game and get to the first screen telling me to press enter, the game just crashes! I’m having the same problem on Xbox too. And again this is completely unacceptable and 343i, you need to fix this stupid thing. Halo is my favourite and now I can’t play any of the games, there the only games I want to play right now and I fear that I will never be able to play them again. So thanks 343i you made a great game once again.
I forgot to mention that I have tried everything to fix this and nothing has worked! Again, just fix this bloody game already, please.
That sucks man. Super weird that you’re having this issue on both xbox and pc. I have both as well and haven’t had any booting issues, even going all the way back to the launch in 2014 on my original day one xbox one. Have you contacted support about this? They might be able to help you debug and figure out a solution. Good luck!

Same here man, I haven’t had any issues with this game since the release of it and yes I have contacted them and no help what so ever.
If you haven’t already OP, make sure that you file a bug report on the support site. Include all the steps you’ve tried so far and details about your setup. You mentioned you’ve tried everything, just make sure - that does include things like: re-installing the game, making sure your graphics drivers are fully up to date, making sure Windows is fully up to date (Version 2004 is the latest, at least build 19037)?

Yes, I have tried all of those too but I will try and report it again to support. But I don’t know what to do if it doesn’t work after that.

So I figured out a way to actually play it but only on my Xbox. I had to switch my region and everything else to the US and turn on something that lets the game read to me and to turn that off I I had to go back to settings turn it back off and then I can finally play but I can’t go and play on my UK settings which is dumb. I know it took awhile for me to reply to this.
