I’ll admit after the first couple of weeks of playing Halo 4 I was uncertain on whether or not I was going to be able to keep playing this game. But now after month and a bit of playing, I can truthfully say that I enjoy playing this game. Sure the game isn’t perfect, but really what game is? Sure some updates would help the game and some smaller maps would help matchmaking, but overall the game is solid.

Everyday I check the forums with the same 10 posts on the front page, “This game won’t last”, “OMG 343 WHY HAVEN’T YOU FIXED THIS!!!”, “Problems with Halo 4”. The same thing happened when Reach was released as well, and I find the same with everything these days. Every single thing video game related or not people always have something to complain about, I feel as if people only want to bash on things and never take the time to enjoy things in life. People just need to take a step back, take a deep breath and calm down. People need to realize that nothing is perfect and nor will it ever be, and they need to start enjoying the things instead of taking every single opportunity to bash something.

Anyways with the ranting aside, The reasons i believe Halo 4 will succeed. Forge and Custom games, I know many people were disappointed with the forge and custom games in Halo 4 (Myself Included), But after tampering with the settings and spending some more time in forge I love what you can do in Halo 4. Most of my old favourite gametypes and maps have been recreated and I am having an incredible time playing them.

One tip I have for anyone who is bored with halo is to find people who you enjoy playing with, join a clan, find people on online forums, there is so many people who you can meet and have a good time playing Halo again. For those of you who enjoy playing competitive go on Gamebattles like i did and i an truly say I am having as much fun on Halo 4 as i did in Halo 3 and Halo 2.

All of the features in this game will keep me playing for a long time and I love Halo 4.

But the game is not perfect, I will admit there are several things i would like to see added into the game. More custom game options (One flag options, ability to change flood loadouts, boltshot balancing, enable the filshare browser!, MLG playlist). But even if these are not added I can still see myself playing this game months and months down the road.

Please leave me your opinions on the game i would love to know if I’m the only one who actually enjoys playing this game.

i love playing the game, I personally find it to be the best Halo yet, (played since CE) it’s addicting and great fun.

yeah, there is a couple of issues, but nothing gamebreaking and i’m looking forward to the CSR.

The game will survive, easily.

Currently, i am enjoying the game as well. Still, i would have prefered Halo 4 to be delayed to add crucial features such as an improved theater mode, spectator mode, File Share, custom game options, fine tuning in Forge etc.

Weapon balance is going to require walls of text but i am sure you can predict what I’ll say about what needs to be tweaked lol.

I used to be as optimistic as you, now I can’t lie to myself anymore. Friends are what make games enjoyable for me and sadly none of my friends are playing anymore. The population is slowly but surely dying. Yea I want it to survive but I just don’t see it.

Yea I agree delaying the game for a while longer to add features and polish the ones added would have helped the game a bunch. But I guarantee that Microsoft made 343 release the game when they did to complete with COD and try and steal some sales which in the end resulted in an unfinished game but overall the game is solid.
