"This game requires an update..."

…but the update couldn’t be found"

This is the error I seem to get whenever I attempt to start up the game. Anyone have some possible solutions? Has anyone else ran into this issue?

The game in question is Halo 4, by the way. Just in case.

I’m not sure it applies to you but I originally had a physical copy of Halo 4, then I bought a download so I could give the physical copy to my daughter. Game didn’t work right on my download until I went into System/Storage and removed everything Halo 4 related and redownloaded.

I’ll try that out, even if I don’t like it. Lots of things I’m going to be deleting that I can’t even get into the game to save and/or upload to fileshare or something. Oh well I guess.
