I’ve had now three exchanges with women in my life who want to play the game with me but feel left out when making their Spartans because there’s literally no option to be a woman in the game.
Not exactly sure how this is an oversight considering you literally have female Spartans in the game as well as voices. But all your body options just have male structure with varying degrees of body types. But nothing with a woman’s frame.
I really honestly think this is a bit ignorant. I understand that people view gaming as the “The domain of the male geek” but there are plenty of women out there who love gaming and playing Halo. How you can’t acknowledge that is pretty shallow to me tbh.
I don’t think this was intentional necessarily, but it does show the major oversight of this company for having not included it. Women should be allowed to feel comfortable playing this game. They should feel accepted into this culture.
And even when it comes to just the game itself, you’re only going to make people happier by having this option as it’s more content. But that’s just me. I just don’t see how you could regress this. But then again, this entire game is basically that, so …
Yeah, I definitely get it. I feel left out. I don’t understand why it’s an issue as since Reach we’ve had the option. I’m fine with them adding more body types to accommodate more people, but don’t take away what was there. Reach was the first Halo game I felt represented by. It will always hold a place in my heart for that reason. Infinite is lacking in this department.
It’s odd Xbox execs are flabbergasted at the bigotry and sexism online in their games but doesn’t mandate all their games are inclusive. Oh well. Left hand can’t know what the right is going when dealing with monolithic corporations like this. It sucks though.

343 is racist for only having white accent voice options
343 is sexist for not having a female skeleton figure
343 is weightphobic for only having normal, +20lbs, and -20lbs

I like how people are flagging this post when I’m literally just writing down a list of what other people have been posting topics of hundreds of times. I’m not even saying anything new, it’s a summary. These topics are very common on these forums and Reddit.
I’m just tallying up the numerous reposts. It doesn’t reflect my personal opinion, but rather a reflection of the community as a whole, since I see these topics so often. Think of it as a compilation of posts I’ve seen across the forums, reddit, YouTube, and etc.
I hear ya, I really do, but can we get a game that works first?
I mean, looking at the state of the game after everything you seen, do you really think you’d get four limbs and a torso at this point and not something that resembled something from the flood.

You’re not tallying anything up. You’re making a broad assumption about a supposed exaggerated narrative being constructed by fans under the assumption of us being “Unappreciative babies”.
This is a legit issue in the game and it should be posted and reposted until it’s fixed. You know, like we had to do with MCC because if it wasn’t for people reposting the issues with that title it would still be in the terrible state it was back then.
If it were up to you, and people like you, we’d still be waiting in thirty minute long matchmaking lobbies.
I never said I was against any other complaints here, in fact I’m one of the people that makes a lot of complaints against 343. I personally don’t really like the majority of their choices since Halo 4. You would know that if you ever seen my posts. I’d wear a female model myself just because in most games, I don’t care what I play as. You’re throwing rocks at the wrong people here. I’m literally just keeping track on the hundreds of reposts
