This game needs a title update NOW

People have been complaining about gameplay mechanics for weeks now and nothing has been done about it.

  1. BOLTSHOT—this is a given. make it only strong enough to disable shields or severely reduce the range. as of right now, melee combat is ruined.

  2. DMR—way too many advantages compared to other guns. it has no recoil, fires faster and does the most damage. go look it up on youtube. and it also makes big team battle unplayable, especially on Ragnarok. Put two DMRs on each side of the map and that is enough, everyone else gets BRs or Carbines or Lightrifles.

  3. CAMO SNIPING—camo currently lasts way too long. needs a faster burn rate with longer cooldown

  4. REGULAR WARTHOG–needs a damage buff. nobody ever gets in it because its a walking double kill (ie plasma pistol and nade)

5)GAUSS WARTHOG–needs its health reduced so its able to be killed faster. gauss sniping ruins gameplay.

  1. STICKY GRENADES—need magnetism reduced. I cant even start to count how many times nades have been thrown past me and magically do 90 degree turns and latch on. This isnt due to lag. This is a gameplay mechanic.

  2. menu screen glitch----when exiting a match, the screen will jump back and forth between the infinity lobby and main menu

Feel free to add your own. The population numbers prove this game is in a downward spiral. Whatever TU 343 decides to dish out, it will either make or break the game. They have 1 shot at it.

  1. Like I give a crap about all the losers sitting in their rooms playing H4.

  2. A update doesn’t make or break a game. The core game and the mechanics of it do.

  3. Not really. They can release more title updates.

They will be releasing it on January and it doesn’t matter how much you complain or demand for it.

People are waiting patiently for the TU and so should you.

The DMR needs the same bloom and magnetism as in Reach.
Like Reach pacing shots must be necessarily for long range battles.

If they take your suggestion for the boltshot people will move to plasma pistol. Solving nothing.

Gauss Warthog is fine.

Camo is broken.

Updates do make or break the game. The H2 patch made it the game that it was. The H3 patch made it the game that it was. The Halo Reach patch came way too late and the game was already dead, but the patch made it better than Halo 3.

1: yes
2: yes
3: maybe a little but not that much
4:Damage buff and armor buff
5: Nah just less magnetism
6:It has always been as it is so no
7:Dunno?..

Did you play MLG v7 settings? A consistent starting weapon with a more responsive strafe > Random BR spread and sluggish movement.

I agree with him… IMO reach was the best halo

STOP WITH THE UNEVEN MATCHMAKING GAMES!

They started me in a game 1 v 4. How the hell do they expect me to win 1 v 4 when 3 of them have camo and just vehicle hog? Stop it. Go back to the 4v4 system where a game doesn’t start unless it’s 4v4 or 3v3.

Again, did you play MLG v7?

A title update has been confirmed for weeks now. In fact, it was confirmed the same time the FIRST title update, which patched some bugs and glitches, was released.

I LOL so hard at this statement. If it is a “dead” game how come it still ranks on the top 20 Xbox Live games? You need a new definition of a “dead” game.

its been confirmed for a while now but can you tell me exactly what its going to do? 343 seems to like keeping its community in the dark as if to make them stick around to find out the answer, really -Yoinking!- annoying

Halo 2 released November 9, 2004
Title Update to bring game to 1.1 released April 18, 2005
Total time to 1.1 update? 5 months 1 week and 2 days.

Halo 3 released Sept 25th 2007
Title Update to bring game to 1.1 released February 20, 2008
Total time to 1.1 update? 4 months, 3 weeks and 5 days.

Halo Reach released Sept 14, 2010
Title Update to bring game to 1.1 released September 21st, 2011
Total time to 1.1 update? 1 year, 1 week

Halo 4 released November 6, 2012
Title Update to bring game to 1.1 estimated release no later than Jan 31st 2013
Total time to 1.1 update? 2 months, 3 weeks and 4 days.

Quit acting like they are lagging behind all of the other titles, it will be out nearly twice as fast as any other previous 1.1 TU. Quit getting your knickers in a bunch.

Never ever thought I would see someone actually post this

It’d be stupid to tell people before it’s all done.

Imagine what would happen if they’d said “Hey guys, we’ve been listening and apparently people think we should do [something] to [random feature], so we will!”, then when they actually start working on it they have to come back later and say “Sorry, guys, turns out we can’t do that, it’s not possible/unbalanced/etc.”

I’d rather be accused of not saying anything than saying something false.

This. There was still 80,000 people playing after Halo 4 came out. Reach never died. It only died in the minds of people who wanted it to die so they could have something to hold up thier unfounded and shaky arguments for a 1-50 ranking.
