I made a secondary account to experiment with the rankings. Played with my buddies who are all diamond/onyx. Faced all diamond-onyx opponents. My KDA was over 10. We went 8-2. GOT PLACED GOLD 4. The ranking system is a joke.
The aiming in this game is inconsistent. Every game feels different. Some games I can’t miss, the next game I’m all over the place. Something is wrong when Snipd3down (one of the greatest at H5) is still switching around with sensitivity and aim acceleration.
I love this games multiplayer because the movement, weapon balancing, and maps (with exceptions) are amazing. But it seems 343 wants everything about this game to be a grind. Grinding for req points. Grinding the rankings to get your CSR back to onyx because the stupid placement put you in platinum. Grinding game after game to find a sensitivity/aim acceleration combo that actually works before having to change it again.
Simply put, I’m losing my motivation to continue playing. Again I love the game. But certain aspects just make me want to uninstall it indefinitely.
