This is pathetic now, it takes me 20 minutes to find a 12 minute game…which doesn’t even last the whole 12 minutes. I love Halo, but the multiplayer is just pathetic in my opinion. It’s always Slayer BR, BR, BR, BR, BR, always the same maps, pathetic
well BF4 took almost 1 year before it was fixed so there still hope even though I don’t really have any big probleme with MM since the last patches.
You should probably give up and sell your game. No reason to support a company that you think is pathetic.
Youre not allowed to get upset over playing the same maps though. You choose what playlists you want but if your opinion isn’t the popular one then you’re the minority. Majority rules.

If you say that on these forums, it’s considered an insult. People lose their mind here when you present it to them that it’s possible that they didn’t make a mature financial decision by pre-ordering the game.

You are correct. I have no plans to pre-order or purchase Halo 5 unless TMCC is working MUCH better by the time H5 comes out. So sick of buying unfinished games.

Are you searching solo and do have decent internet? Btw for gaming, upload is more important. If the answer is “Yes” then it shouldn’t take you 20 minutes to find a game, unless you are searching BTB at 11 am when nobody is online.
Check to make sure your NAT is open. yeah i know, you’re nat is already open right? Check again. there was a thread just the other day where someone opened his NAT back up and BAM! started finding games in about 2 minutes.
you can use UPnP or Port Forwarding. I prefer port forwarding with a static IP because its permanent. UPnP tables can get outdated or screwed up and the next thing you know your NAT isn’t open anymore and you didnt even realize it. Before everything started moving to dedicated servers, this was a problem with all games hence why it is a problem for MCC.
That isnt a cure all of course, 343 has a lot of fixing to do. But if you have a decent connection and open NAT, solo matchmaking works fine.
They are currently working on a very large patch that will supposedly make fixes to a lot of the bigger problems. Let’s let them roll it out after the beta test and then judge. If that doesn’t make much of a difference then I may lean more towards your sentiments.

they’ve already rolled out numerous patches and its always 4 steps forward 5 steps back . I think everyone can judge by now

This newest update isn’t perfect, but it is still a big improvement. When I search for a game in the BTB playlist (worst playlist because it takes the longest), it only takes a minute or 2 to find players. I still think that 2 minutes to find a match is unacceptable in multiplayer, but it’s a big improvement over how it was before. This update helped, but 343i has a long way to go.

I feel the same way, they will never fix this game. I used microsoft chat today and got a refund for the game even though I’ve had it since November. Thanks Microsoft! Eat it 343!
I’m going to use the refunded money to get GTA unless you guys have better suggestions.

im not supporting the company, i enjoy playing halo. But, im not the only one who thinks that its pathetic now. And as for the maps thing, the 3 options given in the first place are always the same

Nah man, save your money and don’t buy it if you already played it on the 360. Besides, the game gets dull after 2 months of playing.

You guys say this game will never be fixed even though 343i is fixing it right now and a patch has just been released. The new patch fixed the waiting times and was a nice improvement in my opinion.
