THE LAG IS FING UNBEARABLE AND THERE ARE LESS THAN 2000 PEOPLE PLAYING WTF! I JUST WITNESSED MORE BULLSQUIRT IN THE LAST 2 HR THEN I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! FROM RAIL GUN SHOTS TO THE FACE THAT DO NO DAMAGE AT ALL, TO PUTTING ENTIRE CLIPS FROM THE NEEDLER INTO PEOPLES BACKS AND NOTHING HAPPENING, GETTING ONESHOT BY THE CARBINE WITH FULL SHIELDS, YET I CLEARLY GET A HEAD SHOT WITH THE SNIPER AND NOT A THING HAPPENS, INSTEAD SOMEONE RESPAWNS NEXT TO ME AND SHOOTS ME 2X WITH THE BR AND I DROP LIKE I GOT SHOT BY A TANK, AND THE PHANTOM GRENADES IVE HAD IT! WTF DO I HAVE 50/50 INTERNET FOR IF IT DOESNT MAKE DIFFERENCE CASUE EVERYONE WITH A PREPAY WALMART INTERNET PLAN ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE PLAYING THIS STUPID GAME, NOT TO MENTION THE COMPLETE LACK OF PEOPLE NOT USING HEADSETS IN TEAM GAMES, AND EVERYONE PLAYING LIKE ITS FREE FOR ALL INSTEAD OF A TEAM GAME, I DONT KNOW HOW MANY TIMES I’M ENGAGED WITH AN ENEMY AND SOME NINCOMPOOP WALKS RIGHT INTO MY LINE OF FIRE TRYING TO TAKE MY KILL, IF YOUR GONNA SHOOT AT THE GUY AT LEAST STAY OUT OF THE LINE OF FIRE AND MAYBE WE BOTH WON’T GET KILLED AND LOOK LIKE JERK OFFS DOING IT!!
OP you are a genious. The game is fun when it works properly but everything you said is eerily true and so many others agree. The community obviously are going to defend 343 and may use such words as to “lolwat” and “adapt” to throw you off, but you’re strong enough to know whats what andbfor that I congratulate you, baby.

Peak population and the current population are not the same thing donkey roll. There are less than 5,000 people playing at the moment and the connections are horrible.
OP, call down, go eat something, then come back and talk to us in a way that everyone can understand it, and not just typing everything that comes to your head at the first minute and type it in with Caps Lock.

I understood what he was saying. Did you not? Everything he said is spot on… There is no way the population should be this low.

While I may not agree with his method OP is right, I’ve just tried to playa few games and they were all laggy as all hell and down right unplayable, I played maybe 5 games and quit 3 of them due to people teleporting around me and eating bullets

The connections are bad because halo 4 was the final nail in the coffin due to the death of halo started by l0lreach. Halo 3 was # 1 its entire lifespan and was only #2 when MW2 cam eout and was already 2 years old. It stayed that until l0lreach came out which did nothing but watch halo decline.
Despite all the horrible effect l0lreach had on halo 343 still thought it was fit to put in its ridiculous armor ability bs that lets you negate map control, and turn invisible on demand and not fit a Halo 2/3 style ranking system.
This lag which is a result of that low population is due in large part to those decisions. If you want halo to ever go back to what made it great and pleased the largest amount of people then the best thing you can do is simply not play halo 4. Which is what I did. If H5 is more like Halo reach 3 but with more cod mechanics the halo series will die in my eyes.
Been waiting 6 years for a real halo game and have had to deal with a side game, a butchered remake with no multiplayer, and a cod in space clone complete with perks, carepackages, loadout shotguns, sprint, and no visible ranking system.

Ok… you don’t get that he was pointing out the population from 2.5 hours ago? It was sub 5k. So how does peak population figure into his rant when he is talking about the “current” (at this very moment) population?
And yes, if this game was actually decent there would be tens of thousand online at this very moment.
