Been playing Halo since Xbox launched, but I’ve never been so freaking pumped about it since this beta. Everything feels so solid! Every kill feels good, and even when I get killed I don’t feel cheated. It feels like REAL eSport type of stuff. I think eSports in general is ridiculous. But now, I want to join a league! The sound, the feel, the flow of it… GD. This game is blowing my mind and it’s two maps and ONE mode! I’d pay 60 bucks (80 if you guys would let me) right now just to keep THIS beta for the next 9 months. I’m not kidding. This game is something special. And we haven’t even got a sniff of the campaign. I’ll take this beta over ANY game on X1 or PS4, period. I’d even go as far as if I had this game that’s all I need. X1 + Halo 5, I’m set for the next 7 years. This game is looking THAT good.
Kudos, 343. You’re crafting something amazing. You’re turning me (lifelong Halo fan) into, possibly, an eSports fan. Which is something I have made fun of since it’s inception.
Note: Your sound design team needs a raise. I love that “click” of a grenade hitting the ground on it’s way to you and the reloads lock and snap.

80% of the stuff posted on these boards is nonsense. “Why’d I get killed when I shouldn’t have?? This game sucks!”… Just wanted to show some positive vibes. Back to another game!
It just seems so finely balanced and the emphasis on teamwork makes it quite awesome to play

But this is arena multiplayer where as halo 4 and reach are not
H2 was bad. Never liked it. Battle rifle only games. Look at my other stats or how about go away. And play H2 on MCC while we move on past to something better. Ugh… These “just make it the same as everything 10 years ago!!!” People. Go away! I think that’s why MCC was created. To shove you guys off. And STILL not satisfied. Sociapaths. “My way or no way!!!” The community will move on.

It’s next Gen Halo… It was always going to be unimaginably amazing! 
Cant wait for the next few weeks of the beta with new maps and new game modes. Not that I haven’t enjoyed every split second of my 17 or so hours played on Empire & Truth.
Agreed on the sound. The little kill sound that used to be the hitmarker sound is so satisfying, as well as the Smart Link sound for some of the weapons.

I agree, this is the least teamwork oriented halo yet literally I am a one man army in the beta. I liked reach and 4 but neither were as good as 3 (in multiplayer, in campaign both were actually better). 5 destroyed the subtlety of the previous games. with that said 5 is not bad but hardly the master piece people talk it up to be. I hate how people rail on 3 by saying the br sucked. Out of all the halos the br took the most skill to use in 3.

I played all the Halo’s, consider myself a classic Halo fan, and I love the beta. How do you explain that?

Halo 2 was not “bad” as you can easily tell by looking at how much it was played. Battle rifles are precision weapons that require skill unlike the AR that I’m willing to bet that you enjoy. If the MCC worked as well as the beta, I wouldn’t be here. So get them to fix it or “go away” yourself. Perhaps before calling someone a sociOpath and using CAPS and multiple exclamation marks you should get yourself a nice mug of warm milk and get yourself off to bed. Nerd rage isn’t helping your argument.

I love that sound when you get a kill. Click-clock! Don’t change that! Sound is ridiculous in this game.
H2 was bad. Boring. Why use any other weapons? It turned halo into anti-halo. No thanks.

I would obviously kill them all because everyone in the game is terrible, with this -Yoink- ranking system. there is no real map control at all, and only 1-2 power weapons on the maps. Team work and map control is locking down narrows in H3 and literally dictating the spawning behavior of the other team to give you the advantage. If you think H5 has either based on how everyone is running around going for melee kills you must not know what teamwork and map control is in halo.
I chase down teammates cause it’s all about teammates in this game.
Proof positive that Halo 5 is not made for fans of Halo.

No you wouldn’t you would be gunned down in about 2 seconds. The game makes you move in at least pairs
