This game is too easy to play anybody can be good at it. It is almost impossible to win 2v1 situations without nades. I remember in Halo 3 I could wreck an entire team on my own but in this game you don’t even have to lead shots. I thought they learned their lesson that Projectiles > Hitscan we are on dedicated servers now so there is no excuse. The Assault Rifle is too strong too and can kill across map with ADS. Also doesn’t help that sprint is yet again game breaking. You have a year to fix this.
I agree with you. Bullet magnetism will be the end of competitiveness of H5 if it is not decreased. I hope 343 realizes that casual players can still have fun while not having the game handed to them. It takes little to no skill to 4 shot anymore. Everyone can do it. It took me years to master the BR in H3. What happened?
You think it’s easy, trying playing it from Australia on 250-300ms+ lag and then trying repeating those same word’s in frustration

Yeah 4 Shotting is so easy now.
I think the game is more fun than Halo 4 and Reach, but the skillgap definetly isn’t very high. I wish they could remove sprint, up the speed to 120%, and increase the average kill times just a little. That would increase the skill gap, but also make the game even better.

I feel like this could be there was an accuracy increase. I remember playing the old halo games in halo MCC and LASO was/is a botch in halo one because i can’t hit a thing! And again 343 is not the same company and no game will stay the same over time. I get that hand holding shouldn’t be a thing either but it’s only for ease of access so everyone can play it.
My idea for this game so far is that everyone can play it but the ones who know what they are doing and learn everything about the maps and abilities will do a lot better then people who just play for the fun of it. I’m doing a lot better than i did in halo 4 and reach after a few years of playing halo.
I will also agree that projectiles are better than hitscan, i’m wondering how that impacts the performance or ram on a game though.
I agree with most of you. The reason halo is better than the majority of games is because it forces you to use skill or strategy, not much but a little. Now its just turned into whoever shoots first wins. I liked all the halos up to now, despite some having bits i disliked, they weren’t major game changing dislikes.

That would be a good idea. They should have a week of that and the players can vote for what they want.

I still think some strategy is involved, yes those who shoot first alone will usually win but with a team on your side, you can plan and do a lot better. Me and my two other friends dominated quite a bit of the matches we played because of this. Playing alone just makes it more difficult to do, you just have to plan where you are more and how the enimies around you are doing.

its not easy for randoms… if it was easy when im playing in a group with my team scores of 50-12 doesn’t give me any impression that it was easy for them because we played a team game as a team.
winning 2v1… in a team game why are you running solo? how do you think we win 50-12?
they went with hit scan because they turned down the reticule draw, bullet mag and aim assist while increasing the ability to strafe with thruster so aiming is HARDER
the AR cannot cross map. try using the AR from big tower 2 to pink tower 2 on truth against a BR or DMR… you’re gonna die.
sprint isnt game breaking, getting shot staggers you and shields dont recharge if you keep using it, a lot of the time your team mates clean up the runners, you get assists which feel like they count as much or more towards your skill rating as kills do, team game.
now be quiet and go away
H5 is camp room, keep close to the corner looking at your radar and ready for run away. 1vs1 is dead.
A lot of Halo Rambos dont know they are out of H5.

LOL!!! if anything there is a greater skill gap than halo 3… and how can you possibly think that projectiles are better? are you saying that the random BR spread of Halo 3 is better too? Even with hitscan you still had to lead at range…
That’s the advantage of dedicated servers, you can measure true accuracy. Most players ping time in the game will be within the same range instead of all over the place and there is no host advantage. You dont have to take half a game to figure out what the lag is and how much you need to lead, you can jump right in and not have to worry about the randomness factor as much which makes game more fair and competitive. There is still a little bit of lag that needs to be accounted for as well, though not nearly as much as host-based play. also aim assist is the least that it has been since H1…
I will definitely concede the fact that the AR is too strong. The issue with it, and the smg as well imo, is that the range is too long when scoped. They need to average out the spread of both of those weapons between scoped and unscoped, then have scoping make NO CHANGE to the spread from that point. Right now it does.
Also, i think the issue with the actual damage of the weapon is that it kills much too quickly once your shields pop. Its not a weapon that you can get headshots with, so they should honestly double the number of hits it takes to die after your shields are gone.

Takes away individual skill for the players who are actually good. Maybe you have trouble playing alone but there are many others that are good Halo.
Wait a sec.
The game is too easy because a 2v1 situation is too hard for you?
I wouldn’t say its to easy to play, the learning curve is very big and there are many new tricks to learn. Skilled players will always pull ahead.
Oh and its worth mentioning Halo 5 is the console shooter with the least aim assist in a long time.

Sprint isn’t going anywhere, this game is designed with sprint in mind.
Agreed. Bullet magnetism is insane, I get shot around corners SO easily.
1v1 is dead.
I agree to a point that I used to be able to hold my own against more than 1 opponent because of my superior skill. Now if 2 people are in the same vicinity their is no point in even challenging.
Ill take it for what it is though, a beta. I just hope 343 understands that this formula didn’t workin in Reach or Halo 4, so why would it work now.

You obviously never played a real Halo game.
Checks profile
Zeebali HAS NOT PLAYED HALO 3 YET.
Ok that explains it.

My thoughts exactly. And I’m sorry there is no way you won a 2V1 without using a grenade playing decent players. That’s two br headshots each lol you always needed a grenade to even your odds
