This Game Is Still Broken, Six Months Later.

6 months after release and problems are still persisting. If you didn’t rush the game out the door for the sake of having an “Anniversary Release”, this could’ve been avoided. If you spent more time fixing the game you’ve already released than working on Halo 5: Guardians, this could’ve all been avoided. But no, you insisted on throwing the game out in a ridiculously unstable Pre-Alpha stage for full price rather than testing it first. This is what happens when 10% of your studio works on a project this big. Anyone and everyone who worked on this game deserves to be fired, and anyone who purchased it deserves a full refund, not in the form of useless in-game avatars and nameplates.

I am still experiencing numerous crashes on both local and xbox-live matches. This is not my internet connection, my internet is perfectly fine when I’m playing a different game or just browsing the internet. My game is fully updated, so these are all clearly problems on your end.

Before you rush into the comments accusing me of being a Bungie fan, and telling me to return the game, just note that I do not like Bungie, and that I do not hate 343 Industries, and I only want the game to be better. That being said, here are my problems:

Yesterday I played the second mission of the Halo CE LASO Playlist with my brother, we got to the end of the mission, and of course, it crashes. If the game saved checkpoints in Co-Op, it wouldn’t be a big deal, but since it takes FOUR HOURS to beat that mission and there are NO CHECKPOINTS IN CO-OP MODE, we have to start all over, for the THIRD TIME. It didn’t save our progress last time either, when we beat the Pillar of Autumn, so we had to completely restard the playlist from the beginning. The game crashes frequently, especially in campaign. Multiplayer is still played by instability and horrible servers, and on top of all of that, ALL OF MY CUSTOM GAME TYPES AND FORGE MAPS HAVE BEEN DELETED. Thank you 343 Industries for taking my 50+ hours of game time and completely ridding me of all progress. I am so sick of your excuses for this game:

“We’re focusing on Halo 5: Guardians right now.” < Well nobody cares! Fix the game you’ve already released first, don’t give us TWO disastrous games while you sit back enjoy our money.

“Only a small amount of 343 Industries was working on Halo MCC” < Well why didn’t more people work on it? Horrible excuse for a company as big as yours.

“We’re working on it.” < No, you’re not! It’s been six months, if you can’t fix it in that amount of time, you shouldn’t be making games in the first game.

I will no longer be pre-ordering Halo 5: Guardians. Don’t even expect me to buy it after this travesty. Fix MCC and then we’ll talk. Too bad I made the mistake of trusting you guys to put out a decent game at release, and bought the game digitally. What a waste of $60.

Your not the only one with the campaign issues. Welcome to our little club. 6 months in and we still waiting for 343 to fix this games problems, especially the issues related to the games online co-op and game playlists. Officially 343 is blaming the fact that they outsourced the development of each of the games to different companies, with 343 handling the networking, etc, for the master chief collection as a way to say why this game is taking so long to fix. Unofficially, in our eyes they lazy bums who rapidly churned out this game for a quick buck without properly testing this game and they no longer care about this games problems because their next game is coming out in a few months which they hope will make everyone forget about this games problems.
