To try and keep my spirits high, I need to tell myself that due to 343 having roughly 3 years only to make this game what it is now. They HAVE done a really great job delivering a game. If this game came out, single player only and 4 player split screen, back in 2004 people would lose their rearends at the story and world. I am currently losing my behind playing the halo story, so much lore stuff I’ve never gotten into that I’m finally getting a chance to understand In what is to me, a more palatable way. The attention to detail within the gameplay, how much fun it is to throw a fusion coil and grapple another one to you, to then spiderman swing and throw the other cool is great. Simply traveling around with the grapple, running into enemies, taking posts, vehicles and such is just such a blast. I like the ideas behind the armor crates, but I think they need to be more robust. Thankfully they attached cosmetics to a prop in the game that can be SIMPLY added for future updates. Instead of only achievements which might have been harder to add new armors (I miss achievement unlocks tho) I’m hopeful throughout this games lifespan that the story gets as much attention as the mp does. Hopefully co op comes with more than we asked for. I’m not sure if they will simply make host master chief and other players their own spartan, or if they are going to go a whole different route. Not sure. What I do know, is if they add updates such as weapons, vehicles, maybe new gadgets to upgrade, and maybe some new events on the map, and hopefully (possibly reaching here) maybe add new biomes. This game will be hands down the greatest halo campaign (for me at least). I’m coming from a halo 2 and 3 lover standpoint (btw)
Idk bro, this game just did it for me, it reminds of me what bungie might have invisioned back at Macworld. That’s where I’m hoping for moar content. Add the Flamethrower, weird looking guns, the crazy amount of vehicles. I don’t even care if they redundant guns to the sandbox in the single player and don’t add those weapons to MP. Just some more toys (maybe if they add them to SP and not MP they would still allow use of them in forge)
I’ll leave it with this, how yall liking/feeling about halo now, and what are we excited for in the future? What would yall like to see, and what do you expect forge world to be?
Maybe they will work out co op so they can use the SP map for forge??? Idk just being blindly hopeful instead of negative negative negative. Gotta have fun with a fun -Yoink!- game after all. We all just want the best for this game cuz it’s so dang good
