This game is Reach 2. It has been made blatantly obvious that this game is not a sequel to Halo 3, it’s a sequel to reach in terms of multiplayer and gameplay. So, since that’s the case, I ask that anyone and everyone reading this post to, as of now, refer to “Halo 4” as “Reach 2”. The only thing that makes this game even remotely close to being Halo 4 is that Master Chief is back, and that’s only in the campaign. Multiplayer will probably be worse than Reach’s.
It blows my mind that they decided to screw this game up just as bad as Reach. So if they want to make it so similar to Reach, rather than “bringing Halo back to it’s roots” (lol, straight up lies), please refer to this game as Reach 2… because that’s what it is.
Maybe they will get mad that we are giving this game an appropriate name, and fix it. Because at this rate it will fail miserably based off the current information out there about it.

Reaching the conclusion that this game is going to be awful based on the info we have is like making the guess that at some point tomorrow I will eat food.

Dear whiners,
Shut the -Yoink- up, Halo Reach was a great game. Just because Bungie took risks with it doesn’t make it bad. It wasn’t halo 3, so what? I liked the change in Reach, and I’m sure I will love the change in Halo 4. All of you whiners are blinded with nostalgia, and are physically unable to comprehend change. Halo 4 will be an amazing game, and if you choose not to play it, then it’s your loss.
With Halo 4 being a natural evolution of all previous Halo titles, I can definitely say your not informed very well. I know OP that you want to see a return of the original core elements and if it were up to you, you’d make small changes to a Halo 2 or 3 setup. Please, correct me if I’m wrong. But here’s the thing, in the world we live in, majority wins the vote. now where do you look for where the majority currently is at? Halo 3? Halo 3: ODST? Halo Wars? or Halo: Reach/CEA? You go with the most recent and you take into factor that while you haven’t enjoyed Halo: Reach because you can’t figure out how to deal with AA’s or whatever else upsets you, that the game developers should return to the core aspects of Halo 2 and 3 only. This is not something that will EVER be put up with.
People love books, people love SWAT, people love AA’s, bloom, and the entire works. Each element brings together the gameplay styles that ultimately forge the Halo experience. I’m honestly sorry you might not be joining me and the fellow thousands of players that will make the transition into Halo 4 for whatever reason we want to. My response to you as is most of the posts I’ve been talking like this for: the halo community is a community because players of all walks are able to say, “I have a competitive, casual, or whatever edge to myself and I can bring that to the table in a unique and great way.” and that’s why I simply tell you, if you choose to leave Halo 4 behind, that is your choice, but if you can’t find faith in 343’s gameplay ideas, then find some faith in your abilities to bring anything and everything you can to the experience.
