They’re on average losing, 55% of players every month according to steam charts, “steam charts isn’t relative to actual numbers” well considering it had a giant player-base, it gives a good idea as to what is happening on other platforms. This game, as with 2042, has no content really. Progression system is wack and anti consumer, cheating is rampant cause its F2P, there’s communication but nothing of substance is happening, or it is but it’s not being done fast enough.
I really wanted infinite to be good, but sadly, 343 is incompetent as they’ve been for the past decade and halfway listened to what people wanted. Good try 343 but it wasn’t good enough, even though I wanted it to be.
Regardless it shows something on all platforms that’s happening, I highly doubt xbox has 100k players on infinite unless there really is nothing else to play on that console. Player retention is terrible on all platforms.
At the very least infinite’s core gameplay is fun and halo-like. Battlefield 2042 isn’t battlefield, they failed at making their game’s identity match the Battlefield IP.
I’m sure infinite will decline a good bit slower but each week without significant changes is going to speed those numbers up

I’m at the point of believing this is actually 343’s first Halo without outsourcing a lot of work. That is why the game is in such a poor state.
Seriously, they can’t even handle with what is in the game now, but the thing is, there literally isn’t that much content in the game at all. That’s pretty damn sad for a “AAA gaming company” that has been at this for over a decade.
The game is full of new players. Get the game pass and realize that playing with expensive Pc in 2022 is a privilege. This is not a standard stop bashing the game like yall nerds were the center if the world. Thanks 343 dobt listen to them
i am on xbox, the majority of my friendslist are halo players, a lot of the old mlg guys for example and no one, NO ONE, is playing Infinite but returned to MCC
A lot of players like me being back in the game since less than one month. Yall dont realize how many xbox players use game pass everyday and halo is on top of it… your friends are “veterans” and they didnt really left the franchise… all I see is a lot of Pc players who tries to destroy the game because they are not good in ranked… i was halo 5 players and I remember how they destroyed Halo 5 to finally make the systematic comparison with it… halo old players and espacially privileged pc players bahave like call of duty communauty. Everybody selfish… 343 dev are human being. The game is one of the best game since two or three years. You can say whatever you want. True facts thats it runs very well on my Xboxone at high stakes ranked games. If Mcc is so good they should stay on it… they are just frustrated that halo infinite is the most popular halo games nowadays and they are not strong in ranked… lmao… they just want everybody to come back in a system were they are already placed and advantaged. -Yoink!- em… Halo infinite needs fixes but it is a very good games. Those that complain too much should train a little bit more
