This Game Is Getting More and More "Noob Friendly"

Hear me out.
It’s true.
In the last update, they made getting higher REQ points faster in Warzone.
Why?
Yeah…let that player who isnt doing anything get higher REQs.
It was fine how it was.
Honestly, I, and clearly many others, had no issue getting to REQ level 9.
So why have you made it quicker? For those who are bad at the game!
Stop.
So, how else is this game “noob friendly”?
The bullet magnetism / aim assist.
If you claim there isn’t any, there is.
343 added it and said you should be able to feel the benefits of it but not “feel” the aim assist.
Guess what, we do!
Ever noticed how its easy to snipe in this game? But really hard to no scope?
That’s because theres no aim assist if you aren’t scoping with a sniper rifle.
This aim assist / bullet magnetism is also the reason that you can seemingly be shot “through a wall”
Sometimes it is because of ping / connection issues. However, not always.
What next?
The auto rifles!
Some things are fine.
I have no issue with them being powerful.
But it’s back to aim assist.
The assault rifle in all other games and in the lore is for “Short Controlled Bursts”.
And yet. Spray ‘n’ Pray is the best method for it.
There’s even a medal for it.
This is wrong.
Stop making the game so friendly towards bad people…
If they are bad, they should get better.
Instead of being able to take out a rocket launcher for doing terribly on warzone.

TL;DR
REQs are too easy to gain.
Aim assist needs toning down.

Warzone is a casual playlist, and REQs have no effect on Arena. How does this add up to the game being more noob friendly as a whole?

Hahaha #1 war zone is a casual playlist really so who cares a about the reqs. It doesn’t seem much different to me at all. Also if you want to be truly successful with the AR it is way more accurate in burst that just “spray and pray” method. As far as bullet magnetism with the sniper yeah it’s there while scoped in and there is a bit to much but it’s by no means game breaking or all that noob friendly especially since you are always knocked out of scope when getting shot. Overall H5 is way way more competitive than H4 and a lot of other shooters out there.

Too easy to get a high REQ level
Put in minimal effort and get a rocket launcher easily…

But that’s the point of Warzone. It’s where you go when you don’t want to worry about arena’s super competitive environment and just run around the map with whatever weapon you want to pull out of the REQ toy box.

You’re missing the point of Warzone: it’s supposed to be noob-friendly. It’s a casual game-type where you just hop on to have fun without worrying of winning or losing.

Getting to a higher req faster helps the skilled competitive players the same as the “noobs” so I don’t see how it makes it more noob friendly.

Ah yes, instead it should’ve been like it was before where the second you spawned an ONI Mantis the game ended

Lol another whine about Halo becoming noob friendly. The game is fun to play, and there is a large skill gap. It works at intended, bronze players wouldn’t stand a chance against diamonds or onyxs.

/thread.

Exactly. If anything the good players will have even more power now as they’ll be able to bring in the big guns a lot sooner.

GOOD.

The entire game was way to MLG hardcore competitive Esports focused at launch. Its okay if they want to tone it down a little.

Yea it’s easier to get a rocket launcher, but it’s still up to you to get kills with it. I completely disagree with OP on this thread. Halo 5s skill gap is the biggest in the franchise.

You are going to accuse the non-Arena, open-sandbox playlists of Halo5 of attempting to be less competitive but more balanced?
Is this just poorly worded praise?

I don’t see why this is bad. More experienced players still have the same tools as noobs, and by definition, pros will utilize them better than said noobs will. The playing field is still even: if opponents are more skilled than you, you’ll probably lose, and vice versa.

This, who cares about warzone, op makes me laugh, out of the 6 stationary playlist not counting “weekend snipers” 5 of the 6 playlist are ranked, only 1 playlist contains vehicles and that is big team, oh no we cant have vehicles in ranked any more. seriously the way this game is with its playlist is just awful. still weekend snipers is unranked to lol, Noob friendly as op says is a joke, and to be honest warzone is just meh when compared to firefight.

Yes let them not get new players!

This man has a point. Warzone was intended to be a very casual playlist. So yes, it makes sense that 343 would make it noob-friendly. Arena is anything but noob-friendly.

honestly what ive seen is that now one team walks away with the lead even faster because they now have tanks and -Yoink- while the losing team is just getting level 4.

basically since the update every game ive played one team wins while the other is at 500 points. and this includes the team im on winning because i hit level 8 in the first 10 minutes

True! Some can get there faster than others but this opens up for more vehicles in the match to help turn matches if one team is over powering the others with a couple vehicles

This game definitely isn’t noob friendly and warzone is a casual playlist lol.
