Please let me start off by saying, Halo Wars is in my opinion the best game out there. I bought it when first launched, traded in 3 times over the years until I finally bought the digital copy, I love it that much! So, when I get the tease of a Halo Wars 2, I was so happy, so excited. I’ve very anxiously waited a year for more info, lokking on the internet for leaks, news, screenshots even, anything. Then, E3 arrives, yes finally information, trailers, anything and everything. A Beta is out, I am so excited, don’t want to wait, finally get it up and going, super excited and…I’m playing crap! Let me jump back, when first announced, I find out creative assembly is part of it, ok I’ll look into them. So I did, have been slightly concerned after seeing the gameplay and such, but I tried to hold out hope and I did…only to get this garbage in. Bottom line it looks completely annimated, the zoom and unzoom feature sucks! Something about Halo Wars was I didn’t like you could zoom out very far (Supreme Commander I very much like their zoom feature), but I played on and loved it. Second, not only have you royal fubar the zoom feature, you’ve taken out the fast scroll feature as well, wtf?! Another thing about Supreme Commander, the troop limit size is absolutely awesome! A drawback about Halo Wars, I always wanted bigger armies, battles and so on but understood, the technology wasn’t there at the time. It is now, so whythe hell is it that the armies are even smaller than they are in Halo Wars? The Beta is multiplayer only, so can’t even really get a feel for it on your own time. I have a TBI, I don’t do well with my thought process being overwhelmed and uncomfortable in anyway. So it is safe to say that is a stupid aspect in my opinion. Bottom line, if this is the game you’re going to put out after giving to a quite possibly overrated strategy game developer, I am not happy at all! For crying out loud, the original Halo Wars has better graphics than this crap, that was over 7 freaking years ago, are you kidding me with this nonesense? The game play, improved graphics, cinnamatic cut scenses from Halo Wars, that is what you need. Halo Wars has some of if not the best cut scenes I’ve seen in games, so intense and just total bad -Yoink-! Seriously though, I can not stress enough how this game is so not ready to be released or anything, it is a complete joke! You release this garbage the way it is, allow CA to make such a drastic jump away from the best game out there (my opinion), then you will kill Halo Wars and push potential strategy game fans very far from this genre of gaming.
again, this is all my personal opinion, if you don’t like what I have to say, oh well, grow up, this is life. I am venting and giving feedback to hopefully someone in charge of this crappy garbage that they’re trying to spit out and hoping that they rethink this before they potentially kill a what could’ve been epic game!
