"This game is for noobs"

I laugh every time I see someone say this. Just because you keep dying doesn’t mean it’s made for noobs. You obviously aren’t very good at the game, keep practicing or give up I don’t care but stop blaming halo because you keep dying.

There are very few good points I have seen as to why people think halo 4 sucks.

There is nothing wrong with any of the weapons.
However the bolt shot discussion about a on shot kill weapon in a load out is a good point and I can see that deserving a change. Even though I laugh at kids running at me with bolt shot as I kill them.

Lag is a problem in all games they will work on making it happen less but really every game had lag problems.

Ordinance drops add to the game and now it requires more skill than just camping power weapon spawns to win a match because now your opponent could have a power weapon too.

Ability are all good. Thruster pack could use some work though more like flood thrusters not quite that crazy but somewhere in between flood and the current ones.

I know some people hate change but it happens have an open mind this game is really fun.
If you have any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism about this game and why you feel x gun is over/under powered or x shouldn’t or should be in the game is like to hear it. I will let you know why I disagree with you or you might even change my mind on a few things.

I couldn’t agree more. I respect the people who have gripes that at least provide possible solutions, rather than leaping from thread to thread saying “this game is for noobs”.

Ehy, I always had lag from the times I was playing Halo CE on pc. But it’s not possible that it lags so badly. Today in a game I tryed to assassinate an enemy 2 times, and at the end I got killed by another one…
(meaning that arrived behind the enemy, punched, started animation of assassinating, and then interrupting and leaving him free. Retried and still interrupted)

beam rifles have a huge auto aim

binary rifle is one shot kill and out of scope its pure luck

flinch over out of scope

people dont fight for their weapons

all the maps are for btb

medals for everything

getting power weapons is random and based off luck

  1. 3 times more one-shot weapons than previous halo’s
  2. instant, dynamic respawns kill map control
  3. increase to aim assist and hit boxes makes shooting easier, dodging shots harder

I can go on, but basically this game is for noobs

I think the game was made with casuals in mind, but boy did that back fire. Halo 4 takes skill for sure. My problem is that the skill set from 2 and 3 are redundant in it. Reach heads want agree, but I jumped ship when it came out for the same reason.

> I laugh every time I see someone say this. Just because you keep dying doesn’t mean it’s made for noobs. You obviously aren’t very good at the game, keep practicing or give up I don’t care but stop blaming halo because you keep dying.

I’m a slightly above average player and I think the game is for casuals.Oh look, everything you said fell to pieces.

There is something wrong with the weapons. The DMR out-damages every other starting weapon. The carbine and the BR are pretty much useless.I’m saying this as a DMR user.

> Lag is a problem in all games they will work on making it happen less but really every game had lag problems.

You got a source on that, buddy?I know I played a lot of games without lag issues, even at launch.

> Ordinance drops add to the game and now it requires more skill than just camping power weapon spawns to win a match because now your opponent could have a power weapon too.

No,the ordinance system encourages camping.Just yesterday I finished a game 22-2 or something like that because my sniper rifle was never running out of ammo.I stayed in the same spot the whole match.

> Ability are all good. Thruster pack could use some work though more like flood thrusters not quite that crazy but somewhere in between flood and the current ones.

Thruster is useless. Also, the camo is OP.(once again,I’m saying this as a camo-only user).

Yes they are working in fixing lag issues. I’ve had it happen in cod, battlefield, gears, street fighter ext.
any game played has lag sometimes that lag get really really bad. I do agree the assassination animation that “didn’t really happen” apparently is really bad but they are working to fix lag issues so they happen less (lag will never die)

> Ordinance drops add to the game and now it requires more skill than just camping power weapon spawns to win a match because now your opponent could have a power weapon too.

Your right ordnance drops adds so much to this game all I do sit back and kill people from long distances and get rewarded with a binary rifle right under my feet. Thanks 343

Loving the fact that some one else plays to the imbalances, because they know its imbalanced and will admit to it!

The OP is obviously a noob benefiting from the many dumb flaws of this game. OP you are so satisfied because there is no map control in this game. Ordinance promotes people to stand in one place and fire the DMR its so accurate and easy to shoot they dont have to move. This kills map movement, second weapon control is a big part of halo. It doesnt take learn to know the power weapons spawn of each map, ordidance is random and gives an undeserving player a reward. Also insta spawns kill map control. You do realize you get punished for multikills in this game right, the team spawns right back in and owns you. Game needs fixed

  1. Beam Rifles have a huge auto aim?

  2. The Binary Rifle is not a starting weapon nor is it dropped all the time. Rocket Launcher, Spartan Laser, Gravity Hammer, and etc are one hit kills?

  3. Flinch is better than nothing, but being knocked out of scope wouldn’t hurt.

  4. I’m pretty sure Haven, Adrift, Complex, and others are not in the BTB playlist.

  5. People like medals.

  6. Power weapons are based on:

A. Running for them at the start of the match.
B. Getting enough kills/points to call in an ordnance.
C. Each weapon has a certain percentage/chance to be dropped.

Solution: Run for power weapons at the start of the match. Get a lot of
kills/points to call in an ordnance drop. Last, if you don’t get what you were
hoping for. Get more points and call in another. Or kill someone on the other
team who has the power weapon you want. End.

I laugh every time people like you assume that the “it’s for noobs” comment is being made because people keep dying. That actually makes me chuckle.

EDIT: you argue for more thruster pack range…you say that people just camped power weapon spawns in old halo games…you say that ordinance takes more skill…wait, YOU ARE a noob.

I’d prefer an aim assist option I’d like it off for me but I don’t mind others having it I think it hampers more than it helps.

Instant spawn i will agree makes map control harder but someone else said ordinance drops encourage camping so with instant spawn its easier to stop campers.
I myself don’t like instant spawn but it doesn’t ruin the game it just makes getting killionairs easier.

I don’t mind the 1 shot kill weapons they have dis advantages that you can exploit to kill whoever is using them. All weapons have strengths and weaknesses

> I’d prefer an aim assist option I’d like it off for me but I don’t mind others having it I think it hampers more than it helps.

Halo 2 had aim assist. The only time I notice this in this game is when a sprinting enemy yanks my reticule from the guy whom I worked hard to bring his shield down. Its crap.

Ok first off you talk about ordinance killing map control then the DMR killing map movement what one do you want map control or map movement.

Second explain to me how camping power weapon spawns show skill. In previous halos you would fight for power weapons. Someone gets sniper, rockets ext camps that spot killing people with the power weapon they just got and then it respawns. Because they had the power weapon they kill others going to the spawn and pickup the power weapon again. How it is now you can’t assume you have the only rockets on the map meaning your actually going to have to know how to kill other with power weapons no just get kills with them.

Ordinance drops doesn’t do anything but ensure one team doesn’t have all they power weapons. If someone is really a good player the other team getting power weapons wouldn’t effect them as they should have no problem killing a noob with a power weapon because they should know that weapons weaknesses

@ ChopStix:

I don’t think calling the OP a noob is really in your favor right now. Reason(s):

  • You are complaining about there being no map control: I think the solution is to talk to your teammates. You would be surprised how easy it is to control a map with other good players.

  • Ordinance promotes people to find a safe place to not get killed while grabbing the drop. Afterwards it promotes players to go out there and get some kills, before they get killed without using it.

  • DMR is a long distance precision rifle. It’s being utilized for what it’s intended to do. People can flank and fire back in this game you know?

  • The randomness of weapon drops helps discourage people from camping/sitting on top of weapons. Why waste your time waiting for something that is not even there?

  • “Insta spawns kill map control” Lol. The instant respawn is what gets you back in the game, rather than sitting there twiddling your thumbs wishing the respawn time was faster. Halo 4 does not punish you for getting multi kills by the way, it punishes those who stay in the same spot knowing the enemy team is going to want to come back to kill the person who killed them.

My little brother was the original Chopstix. Sadly it is not being put to good use.

> people dont fight for their weapons

Ahh so “pros” are the ones that would kill their team mates for OP weapons? Good to know they are only pros for spamming One hit kill weapons.

> I laugh every time I see someone say this.

Good for you. It IS aimed at noobs but so what? I can still have some fun with it.

Why didn’t you get the power weapon before the other team did? O__o
