Same problem - it says “this game doesn’t allow live streaming” on XSX (Twitch).

That’s honestly weird, have you tried opening your twitch stream (like start streaming) and then launching Infinite? I’ve seen plenty of people streaming the game so it can’t be that it doesn’t allow for it.
Are you not using OBS? Use OBS. Are you just not able to choose the Halo Infinite category on Twitch? Not sure what program is preventing you from streaming, if other streamers can. If you’re using Xbox, that’s Xbox problems I guess. I don’t have a Series X, so I have no idea why it does that. I know Infinite is very unstable and known to crash when using overlays on PC, so maybe it’s too unstable to stream on Xbox. I believe the HCS tournaments used spectators on PC, or a capture card, like an Elgato.

I’ve gotten the same error message on my series x when trying to stream.
I think its bugged and just says you can’t, because after receiving the message i am still able to view my stream on my phone. Have you tried to view your stream ?
Same issue with Nvidia Experience on PC. When trying to stream to either Twitch or YouTube, it just kills the Nvidia app. You have to pick windowed mode to stream with it.
The whole GFE overlay doesn’t work for me in borderless. Mouse movement is horrendously slow, and clicks don’t register on the overlay if you manage to get the mouse all the way over to it.
I have the same problem with the move the mouse a mile and cursor moves an inch. So I tried starting the stream with GFE on the desktop and then opening the game, it’ll just close out GFE. It’ll work in windowed mode but Halo doesn’t run good windowed. Had a lot of stuttering for me.

I’ve got the same issue I’m blocked from streaming Halo Infinite on Twitch atleast in the Halo category. I wonder if it’s got something to do with using the beta pre launch. I’m on Xboxone.
Attempted with OBS on both a single PC setup as well as a dual PC setup with capture card, works fine on my end.
Certain programs might not work well with the “borderless” properties of DX12. Try it with another DX12 based title if you’re able to and see if the problem persists.
On Xbox, I had the same message about no streaming. If I start Twitch first, and then load the game it works, for me. For the Xbox when streaming on Twitch make sure to increase the bitrate up to at least 6000 Kbps or it may be grainy, that’s what I had to do, it may be different for you.
