Microsoft policy of using contract employees and 343’s upper management and dev teams all need a restructure.
Between Halo 5 and now Infinite it’s almost time for Microsoft to just find a new studio to handle the Halo games. But we’ll see how the future of this game plays out.

Thank you and it Does feel like the fault of halo infinite are on a whole Nother level of control and not really under 343 as if somebody else is pulling the strings and thete pulling the wrong ones

Being that guy again, but if you can’t even get the pre-order bonuses right, then how do we expect the rest of it to be functional?
Somewhat related, the only comment on the CM drama is that they refer us to go to support after shifting blame around. Yes, these issues need to go to Halo Support. However, most of us have given up on support because it feels like nothing is done. Could we please have a better automated response other than “Your issue was received!” when it is a consistent issue? I don’t expect ETA’s, but at least add these issues to your list of known issues and notify us that it is added to the list! Don’t go to twitter or reddit, or here in the forums to say it. Use the support site you made specifically for that! Acknowledge these issues in the known issues so it at least looks like you’ve seen it instead of the automated “Just trust us” message. We’ll use the site if you all use it too! Instead they go to other sites, then are shocked when people notify them on there when it looks like they are more active there!
They promised transparency, and I understand having to go back from that considering the state of the game and the toxicity from the community. But they have systems in place so they can at least mitigate the reactions on both sides, but they won’t use them! We’ll use them again as soon as they do too!

the thing with infinite is that is has potential to be the best. i mean, i’l agree happily that it is a fun game…
but the ballancing, lack of maps, modes, weapons, the major server issue, etc… the issues outweigh the good of this game for me. and it feels honestly more corporate than… halo… it is an improvement over 5 in terms of a halo game. but for every step forth… 343 takes two or even more back… a shame really…

Just to try and give some hope, every ticket I have submitted from MCC to Infinite regarding bugs, glitches and even cheaters/hackers have been handled. Not saying a few punched tickets makes up for everything that is going on by any means but at least it feels like someone somewhere at 343i is on that ball.

And this being the exact reason why I think 343I is having trouble with Infinite, who knows how many contract workers they have. Hell who knows how many people left the company after the management shakeup that happened. It’s like all 343I is paying attention to is the profits being made from the store and not at all to the game itself, and no the mid season update doesnt count. The fact that we don’t even have a roadmap yet is as troubling as it is worrying. I think honestly they’ve just given up at this point and whatever happens to Infinite, happens to Infinite. I hope I’m wrong about that.

For me Halo Infinite is a great game. I enjoyed the campaign. when it comes to multiplayer yeah we need more ranked playlist like double ranked FFA ranked team sniper for those who enjoy sniping and a variety of map for both BTB and other normal modes. When it comes to customization happy with the coating thing its dope. Not forgetting forge for those who love forging
My issues has been with the Zeta Sky coatings. Microsoft seriously dropped the ball on them, but 343 looks like they haven’t done anything and it isn’t in the list of known issues. All the responses are the automated non-answers. All I ask is for someone, somewhere, acknowledge that, yes, this has actually been seen and they add it to the checklist.
The support for MCC was great, I even got a few custom responses. I didn’t expect much from Infinite, but by now they have had plenty of chances to do something.

yea 343 really did screw over the playerbase.
When I heard it was going live service, followed by how coatings we’re replacing custom color choice, I knew the game was going to be rough.
And than when it launched I started to say how things were going to play out.
I said the following:
-343 took 50 of the 60 default colors from H5 and
paywalled them. Basically taking away and giving back less
- they further locked those colors to indivudaly cores, weapons, and Vehicles. So they could fill out their content with reselling us the same coating seperately example scarlet wake, scarlet skies, scarlet empress are all the same default color red. It’s one of the free default reds from H5.
-They internally locked cross core away from players so they could resell us armor we liked on the reach armor core for the new armor core.
As far as customization content 343 was inteding on just recycling stuff over and over.
These are the things I said that early on caught flak for saying and now people are starting to realize 343 really did take more away in the name of live service. So they could resell us things we usually earned.
I mean how many times are they going to sell us the color gray.
But this is 343’s MO… They tend to go silent when crap hits the fan… They are the Avatar of gaming devs… When we needed them the most they are nowhere to be found lol.
And the only next event is that tactical.ops which is just more drip fed content. After that we get Fiesta with Tenrai attached to the name. They could have at least made the effort to make it a very unique gamemode.
In the campaign we have like three different types of energy swords. They could have made it a fiesta but with just the swords and grapple shot.
Spaw with a different sword.
Honestly I kinda wonder if they are holding back content. But honestly this silence is only going to make expectations larger… Like if season 2 doesnt blow players away well… They may as well cancel season 3…
Be ause I doubt if they fumble season 2 no one’s going to be giving a crap what they say about season 3. Except forge but I don’t have my hopes up for that either.

I’m not all that happy with the customizations.
For one they only gave us 10 of the default colors from H5. And are trying to paywall the other 50.
And they locked Coatings to each core so they expect players to buy Generic red aka Scarlet wake three times.
They tried to sell players that basic red color for each core seperately. I get they need to make money but dang they had to be so Stingey they couldn’t just throw the default colors from 5 in for free like all of them.
Now we know it was intentional to not have cross core customization. They used that lane excuse about clipping but this game already has so much clipping issues with the cores.
Than there is the kits. Dear God who implemented that dumb idea that they are locked and can’t be changed.
I thought they were going to be like a kit to get that specific look and you can change it as desired.
Overall the customization is extremely restrictive and we gave up custom colors for this.
I would have done a underlay color and the coatings would be overlays on top of those colors. Kinda like Anthem… Hell had they just given us a color wheel and the coatings we’re like Anthem coatings …I think that would be way better than this generic boring restrictive thing they got going on…
I mean maybe some people really enjoy buying red three times, or cadet blue for the Yoroi armor
Change H5 to Halo 2-5, since colour choice has been a thing since even back then.

Right, 343 took away features to pace behind restrictive methods and paywalls, than they stripped away gamemodes an dplaylost, so they could also use that fill in their content roster.
Like I have seen people say that Tenrai should have been a swords only mode. And given that we have 3 types of swords including the campaign variants. It could have easily been a fiesta mode with just swords,grapple hook and repulsors.
But instead they decided to use it to Bring back Fiesta … Very ground breaking.
Also we are almost in March and still no word on that Tactical ops event.
I’ma assuming they are pushing it back again.
Just play Destiny 2 and YuGiOh guys. problem solved. 343 cant do anything but butcher and cater to SS-JJ-WW’s

Well I actually have been playing Destiny 2, and I haven’t touched Infinite at all, maybe some MCC but not infinite.
Although I’d disagree with the S-J-W part as I don’t think they’re catering to them. If you’re talking about the whole nail polish and cat ears thing, I think that was honestly trying to pull a Fortnite and cater to different audiences. Whether that was a successful endeavor, I don’t know because I didn’t keep track of that.
