When people make suggestions about gameplay such as buffs or nerfs or gametype options, (because they like they want to continue to play the game) they are criticized, called all sorts of names, and flamed. Then all other topics are about how “Halo 4 is bad”… does anyone like Halo 4 besides me, and can we start being more constructive with replies?
<mark>For the record I love the complaining about OP weapons and such (things 343 can change in an update) I am not just praising the game, I am saying these comments that these deconstructive replies need to stop.</mark>

we all like the game… but feedback and complaints are necessary if you feel that everything is fine and dandy good for you… so don’t come here acting all holly and crap like that
It’s because people do it all the time and they do it for EVERYTHING. So people don’t take it seriously after a while and the balance problems get swept aside, thank god Halo 4 is the most balanced Halo I’ve played so far so we shouldn’t have to worry much.
The whole point of the Halo 4 section of this forum is to discuss and give input on the game and its gameplay. At least that’s how I understand it as I don’t see why else they would have made it, certainly not with the goal of having a place filled with nothing but “WE LOVE YOU 343 OMGZ!1!!!11” threads. Other than inflating their ego that would serve no purpose. I think getting input on how and when they completely -Yoinked!- up parts of Halo 4 is much more helpful to them, and hopefully results in them fixing things so the game is better for all of us. I don’t see why other people don’t understand this.
The way I see it, the forum is FOR -Yoinking!-. A million e-hugs and high-fives would in no way help with adjustments to the game. When they see 20,000 people complain about the same thing, they know what they need to do. So it’s serving its purpose. The only problem is the complete lack of maturity, and the fact that the mods are the laziest/least strict I have ever seen on any forum ever.
People need to chill and remember how Halo 2 was the first few months after launch. Things will get better with a little time.
It seems that the majority opinion on this post thinks that the OP was saying that we should only praise. I beleive the OP was actually calling for people to be civil in the forum.

very insightful, i definitely agree with you. To clarify, I know the game is not perfect and I see that some changes need to be made, what I have had an issue with is as follows
:Forum title: DMR needs a tiny nerf
:Response: “stop crying wiff ur lil baby mouth and learn to use da DMR cuz its sooooo gud, 343 meant to make the DMR game breaking and i know this bc i pwn n00bz with the one custom class i have created that trumpz all others… blah blah blah”

This is pretty much how any game forum works. It’s where all the people come to after they have a frustrating match or don’t like the game mechanics. Nobody focuses on the positive.
I love Halo 4 and the great job 343i did with it!
