Seriously, I don’t get how people can say certain weapons are OP, I got merked by a BR guy at long range the other game, I use a DMR I had first 2 shots and he destroyed me, does that mean the BR is OP?
No, it just makes the user using that weapon, good with that weapon.
Isn’t that what we should have been supporting all along? People who are good with the weapons they use, to be able to use the weapons they use effectively and well?
To anyone who uses a DMR, Light Rifle, BR, Storm Rifle, suppresser and you guys are effective with it, good on you. It’s good to have a weapon you’re good at.
The next time you encounter someone who destroys you with a weapon, be sure to tell them “gg” because they can actually handle the weapons they use.
I just don’t understand, why the community is so negative. Why is it so hard to admit there are better players than you?
People have been saying that statistically the DMR is better than the BR in any given situations, but that really doesn’t take into account player skill. Nor does anything else people -Yoink- about either. On Paper 2 beats 1, but when 2 doesn’t know how to shoot or 1 is really great at kicking numbers -Yoink-, 2 loses to 1+3.
(If any of that even makes sense)
That’s not to say there isn’t some balancing issues to work out, just that people really need to stop complaining so much. People complain about X and Y being OP as hell, but at the end of the day, if you’re a skilled player… You can always come out on top. If you don’t? Then I guess you’re not as skilled as you thought you were, and you really need your complaints as an excuse to ride off why you’re doing so terrible.
The only thing I would really say is “OP” would be the 1-shot-kill boltshot as a loadout choice
I think people get killed by a weapon a lot, they get frustrated, and go onto these forums in order to put the blame of their death on an “op gun”. Thus, they conclude that 343 should nerf it.
I think the game is really balanced. And if not, we should wait longer than a week to start nerfing. We need more experimentation.

Yeah I would have to agree with the boltshot thing especially the guys who run camo and hide around corners…
Promethean vision doesn’t seem to pick up guys in camo either…

Agree. The player skills haven’t panned out, at all.
