Before I get into this, I just want to say that I want Halo Infinite to be good. But after a year long delay, the first flight is just going to be against…bots? am I missing something here? Do people play halo, a multiplayer game, to play against ai? We were supposed to be chosen to be a part of this flight because of our history with the Halo franchise, and our first hands on experience with the game is a multiplayer setting without the multiplayer? this doesn’t make any sense to me at all. And the fact that the devs can’t give us a solid time frame as to when we can actually download and play this just feels insulting to me. I’m sitting here, twiddling my thumbs, waiting to fire my stream up and promote this game and make content for it, but I can’t even get clarification as to when I can do that, so I have to sit here and wait. This whole flight just seems rushed and and a mess to be honest. I’m not trying to be overly critical here, but first impressions are everything, and this entire experience is really putting a damper on a game that I was looking forward to. I don’t want to play against bots. I play halo to play against human beings.

Flights are being put in waves. This is the first wave where it’s against AI. Eventually we will get a MP flight but for now it’s only against bots.
If you want to play against other people you can still play MCC or Halo 5. No one is forcing you to play against bots in a free preview of a game that is not released yet. The amount of people complaining on these forums is insane, you’re all embarrassing yourselves and other halo fans by whining about a technical preview.
Bots are a new implementation for the franchise so we’re testing them. Hello?
Would you really consider it a better idea to start off testing this game by fighting real people and switch to bots? Do you not understand the drop off that would happen?

Almost like bots are a new thing to the halo franchise vs traditional slayer. If you’re so upset don’t play this flight, it’s as simple as that.

Jesus Christ, if it’s so insulting why don’t you just not play it? You are listing a bunch of reasons why this flight is beneath you, so why did you sign up? I don’t want to speak for everybody but I think most everyone here and at 343 will survive without your awesome Halo Infinite streaming content, so why don’t you go stream a game that doesn’t “insult you”?

I saw the op’s video on youtube complaining about the flight being bot focused and how no one cares about bots.
really? i guess no one will be playing it then.
I don’t have any complains about this flight aside from us not being able to download the game/launcher ahead of time, that’s straight up a bad decision and it will cost a lot of players to lose a lot of potential playtime.
I hope that we can at least keep the launcher for the game and use it in the next flight.
What a poor example you are setting for streamers. I can’t imagine you have much of an audience with an attitude like that.
343 owe us nothing, no-one is entitled to access to this, it’s a preview of a game. They choose what we see and what we do and have even mentioned we will probably get PvP this weekend too. Madness. We also may be getting future flights with PvP before the games even come out yet people have the audacity to complain. It’s not even late or anything!

unnecessary to call someone an idiot. the point is valid but his awareness that its just the beginning is lacking and bots arent the end all be all… you need to learn to hush your trolling thoughts to yourself. calling someone an idiot like that is just silly and I believe you wouldn’t say that in person, and if you would, you would be the person who has never been beach slapped or corrected for your lack of communication and to act in such a manner.

If you don’t want to play against bots then skip this version of the technical preview and wait for the multiplayer later on. They are testing a new system that will help newcomers get familiar with the game.
the only thing that’s annoying is saying it’s live when it’s not.

If you want to play against people, then play against bots first, let them collect their data, bugs and logs and then we will get 4v4 social slayer on Sunday. Whine whine whine. It’s all people do.
It’s a test flight. We’re here to test and report unexpected behavior and bugs. The good news is if we get everything done and out of the way, we have this to look forward to.

Your entitlement is showing. This preview is not made for our enjoyment, sure we get to play Infinite 4 months early which is a privilege not a right, but it’s mainly so they could test out the game so the end product can be better. If you don’t want to go through all the headaches of early lighting, just wait until the actual game release, that’s when it’s actually time for you to be offended if something goes wrong. Even then, just be cool… The process of game dev is not a walk in the park for any studio no matter how big.

It’s a beta you participated in to look for bugs and make sure the game is playable for release. One of these features is bots, something that in the history of the Halo franchise has never implemented. If you feel insulted by this I believe you should just OP out of Halo Insider, because this is the purpose of Halo Insider. The only reason you didn’t have to test new game features in the past is because all halo insider betas took place with games that were already made. You seem really pampered in life, I’m sorry.
The presentation was kinda bad tho. And I agree, playing vs bots is kinda lame.
But I will still enjoy to play the game , cause its Halo <3
