I don’t know what it is but this game doesn’t feel like halo… I feel like I’m playing some knock off shooter from the App Store than what is halo.
The small details of what made halo halo just aren’t there…
The gravity feels way to high compared to previous halos when jumping.
grenade explosions are laughable, they look so bad.
Melee is not consistent
The lack of gun variation compared to previous halos isn’t much fun. I feel like BR and AR are the only constant weapons anyone uses. (I know BR starts are used atm which may change my opinion)
The energy sword looks like a toy…halo 3 visuals of the sword were better and that was 15 years ago ? It also doesn’t feel as dominate as it use to because other starting weapons seem to overpower it from further away easily
Plasma Grenades are no where near as used or fun as the old halos.
Sniper rifles use to be a big thing back on old halos to control maps, again non existent.
The maps are way to small. Behemoth is the only map I feel which correlates to a good halo map and it’s big.
It’s way to repetitive, I feel myself playing the same thing over and over and getting bored very quickly.
TTK seems to quick. I feel like you die a lot quicker than previous halos.
It just doesn’t feel like halo, it just feels like a different arcade game, also the colours of the players are just awful, go back to red and blue.
All just my opinion, you can agree or disagree.

Not sure what you mean, I seen plenty of people using Commandos, Shock Rifles, and Stalker Rifles.
Energy Sword has a longer lunge range than it did in H3, so it’s arguably better.
Snipers or Skewers spawn in every BTB map and in a few 4v4 maps. They don’t need to be in every map.
The TTK is fine. In fact, the TTK for the BR is exactly the same as Halo 3s.
Game plays fine to me imo.
Halo is an arcade style arena shooter. Melee is kinda wonky right now but the game plays fine
Agreed on a lot of points. It feels like there’s a lot of inconsistency and lag and other simple technical issues that make it much more problematic. Frankly, I blame the new Slipspace engine; I’m guessing it’s really bad to work with and that’s why after 5+ years in development this game still has very limited content and a ton of bugs. They should’ve stuck with their old engine and they could’ve reused a lot more assets from older games that way too.
Definitely agree about TTK, it’s horribly fast. You get melted before you even know you’re getting shot all the time.

You guys can disagree but I’m telling you this game will be dead within 2 months facts.
Yeah I also forgot to mention the lag…amount of times I have shot someone and they actually already noticed me but it hasn’t shown on my screen and they began shooting me unexpectedly is crazy. A lot of problems with lag also.
I’ll be setting the date in my calendar. Will you be livestreaming with Dr. Disrespect when that day comes?
We will see if that’s true. That’s not a point you mentioned at all previously but okay. I personally highly doubt that, if 343 listens to halo waypoint, a site they just updated for this exact reason. Than things could easily get better. This is week 0 Early Access its just a baby game now
So, you say people can agree or disagree, and when people disagree, you just retort with “dead game in 2 months”
I mean I posted legitimate facts that I know to be true. You can’t have an opinion over the FACT that Swords have a longer lunge range, the FACT the BR is the same kill time as 3, and the FACT that Snipers spawn on a decent number of maps.
I just said you can agree or disagree which I don’t even care but I’m telling you this game will not make it past 2 months…. Literally does not have enough wow factor to it….too repetitive.
The TTK is lower than previous halos that is known already. BR is the same but other weapons ruin shields way to quickly. I can get shot from across the map and be down to practically zero shields in a second, it was never like that on previous halos.
Sword having a longer lunging range doesn’t take away the fact that other weapons are too dominant over it. The AR is way to powerful at long range now, anyone can shoot someone with a sword from across the map using an AR now, it’s stupid. It makes the sword weaker in that respect, FACTS
Yeah, for me it’s the movement that feels…arcadey. The animation for the walking, running an strafing looks very floaty and weightless like there was no thought put into it it’s animation. There’s no sense of momentum.
You see, the logical fallacy with your “you can agree or disagree” mentality is that you’re treating your own opinion like an obvious or otherwise ubiquitously true fact.
The “fact” is, your opinion is worth as much as the data transferred from your computer to the web server via the internet is. Not to invalidate it of course.
You can feel whatever you want about this game. But don’t tout your own take as the word of God.

game doesn’t even have all it’s modes and playlists yet, pretty premature to be so adamant it’ll be dead in two months. “facts”
This is an example of a really bad take.
What do you mean bad take ?
Ttk is fine. Guessing u liked h3 where line of site was extremely limited and u could walk 3 feet in any direction to hide? Line of site and ttk are fine. There are legit issues (people spamming melee, the AR being a go to weapon-even at mid range, the commando being useless, actually any power weapon is useless to pick up in quickplay aside from rockets•because of hrunting the AR that could slay Grendel’s mother.) However, while i love the game so far, i agree that something doesnt feel very halo with it. Is it severe lack of customization? Lack of selecting “TS” or “objective” matchmakin? Is it the cash grab expensive microtransactions? Is it a lack of a detailed post-game carnage report? Is it a lack of a generalized leveling system that shows how many “tours” youve been on? Id have to say, with confidence, that its all of those and perhaps a bit more.
