Ive been having quite a bit of fun playing the yappening. All the BTB modes are chaotic and really fun. Ive been hard on 343 just like everyone else but this is the first event for me that actually feels like an event and is fun to play.

Playing it a lot, nearly completed all the challenges for the week too, only one more event challenge and 3 normal ones.

I played it too- Skockets was particularly a blast. It’s about time we got an event built around btb.

5000 cumulative score in The Yappening
I wish the vehicle frequency was available in standard BTB. Even with the ordinance drop changes, there still aren’t enough power vehicles spawning. We need a heavies BTB where we can have Tanks actually spawning at bases instead of from airdrops

this is the best event ever, its so free and chaotic and everything can happen, everyone has fair chances regardless what their skill is
I feel like it’s been fun, nice to see an event of some kind. I kinda stopped playing as much since I’ve completed the battle pass so I like something to work towards. I thought BtB with spnkr and skewer loadouts was pretty wild. Just rockets flying back and forth the whole time.
BTB Shotty Snipes was a lot of fun, it kind of sounds like fireworks going off the whole match. Other than that, I’ve only played BTB Fiesta CTF and Power Seeds. It’s not bad, but it feels like something that should have been added back during the previous Fiesta-themed Event.
The Snipers only mode seems to be the rarest of the bunch. I think I’ve only had it once or twice so far. Also, I didn’t notice any shotguns, I think it’s just the UNSC Sniper Rifle.
The rest of the game modes seem to come and go fairly evenly… I want to say SKockets seems like I get a little more then the rest, but it’s all from memory or eyeballing it, so I could obviously be wrong there.
No Kong King though, I’m going to guess that’s going to be Week two.
Such a chaotic/wild game mode and it was so much fun playing! I keep hoping for skockets each game of mind.
It is absolutely fun and unbalanced, the challenges are accessible and enjoyable to take on, and on top of that, the game modes are not repeated excessively. The event is being so good and fun that the number of players on Steam has even increased, doubling the numbers from a few weeks ago.
It seems like a mystery, it’s like the fact that the Halo MP focused on his fun side instead of his competitive side made people enjoy the game more, mmmm mysterious mystery.
