I think credit is due where credit is due for 343.
It’s a beta, it’s early access. Something I think the community wasn’t really expecting 343 to even do aside from the Insider flights.
Not all playlists are going to be in, remember the game hasn’t launched fully. What playlists are in are squished together. The full launch will have them spread out, I’m pretty sure. Above all, at least all the playlists are working. BF2042 only has two functional playlists, the other is completely glitched out until their launch.
Infinite is F2P, so of course there are MTXs. If you didn’t see that coming I don’t know what to say. Of course there is premium currency to buy. But it’s all cosmetic. Sure I’m not the biggest fan of it all. But that is the way of F2P games. Least 343 isn’t selling boost’s. Least not that I saw anyway.
We could have had the broken early access that is BF2042 right now, with bugs galore and the feedback players gave DICE being completely ignored. I can’t even imagine how big the day 1 patch is going to be for that. Least of all 343 has been transparent with us about what changes are coming post launch. Least of all they are listening on that end.
As it stands right now, Infinites early access is a helluva lot more polished than the competition regardless of it’s F2P status. So at least that is a good sign for December.
