This desync is making competitive play a joke

It honestly sucks so much to try and get better at a game that screws you over every match you play.

Every game I have played I have died to either being shot around a corner or going for a back smack only to have them instantly turn around.

How could the game be this bad and the devs barely acknowledge the problem?

Even meleeing is broken with phasing through enemies after a melee… This no player collision is terrible as well.

Yeah, it’s incredibly baffling that this game is even a valid Esports title. It seems like 343 and/or Microsoft is plagued with higher ups that are in dire need of being reprimanded or demoted entirely from the sheer stupidity of the decisions they’ve greenlighted for this game. Adding in a Ranked mode before fixing the major glaring issues of hit registration is beyond me. I would have gladly waited another year for them to fix that instead of just pushing it out for the sake of money and pleasing investors.

I think I already suggested in another post that a lot of the desync issues are most likely due to latency, so if a competitive event is played on a LAN connection like they typically are anyway (not sure what the current HCS choice is) the desync issues should go away as well.

Not a fix for us, but it validates it for an esports event.

343 had 6 years to put this together and they could not manage it by themselves. Pretty much every MS owned studio had credit at the end of the campaign…

I have not had this much trouble on a halo title ever. Played MCC for the last two years and it’s pretty dang good in comparison.

They had a lot of other problems with their LAN tournament lol.

It’s good that it is affecting HCS as well, forces them to maybe deal with it quicker.
