Classic gametypes… we now know that they’re coming. Also, I’d love to play some Ricochet on some of these maps!
Playlist feedback forums… they’re likely coming and they’ll likely be implemented in a way that works well for the associated game modes.
Weapon layout feedback… very cool, and in some cases much needed (looking at Regret and Overgrowth particularly).
That map was looking like a Fathom remix as well (look at the ceiling/rafters)… and it appears to be quite a bit different so color me excited. The inclusion of great Forge content in MM will help increase the variety of existing playlists and again, with the weapon layouts potentially be shifted around a bit, maps could potentially come a little more into their own, although I’m really not sure how much Overgrowth can be saved… lol.
Looks like some great changes and additions are on the horizon though. Awesome…

It’s not a big deal really as long as the remixes differ from each other enough… Overgrowth was a pitiful remix of Plaza, I will say that though. I’d like to see them re-remix Plaza since it’s my favorite map in the game.
Imagine a sun-drenched Plaza-like map, still fairly wide-open, with similar elements but a much different layout… high up in the city skyscrapers… you could fall off the map. How cool would that be?
Overgrowth was just wasted potential… like for real, do the original map some justice!

Actually, I don’t know if it’s even possible for their rep to drop any further than it has. 343 is just awful. They say nice things like, “Hey! Free dlc!” and give us stuff that was ready before launch (Like noctus), stuff that should have been at launch (forge, which was still released buggy af), awful remixed and forged maps, and worthless items to fill their stupid req packs (did we really need arctic and woodland camos for our vehicles?).
Unless they do a complete 180, then Halo might as well just die.

Don’t get me wrong… I’d LOVE to see some brand-new original maps. I’d prefer it honestly.
It didn’t make me feel any better. Here’s what I just posted in another thread:
343, despite moving their office location, has NO excuse to not be launching a single new permanent playlist in this month’s update. Give us snipers! Or doubles! You’ve had them in as weekend playlists already, so why can’t you simply stick them back in as permanent?!?! It makes NO sense. And still no word on infection, both a popular playlist and the backbone of a ton of custom games. Grifball is still “in the works”. Get something done other than more mongoose skins and map remakes, please.

How do you know it was ready before launch? They showed us a few scenes of it, it could’ve been completely untextured on the other side of the map. The remixes and “DLC” Forge maps are completely stupid, make something original.

The issue on overgrowth is that there is a shot gun and an energy sword on the same map alongside invisibility. Plus the map is very very close quarters.
I don’t see how Halo went from having so many original maps to becoming just a big collection of remixes. I don’t mean to be “that guy” who lives in the past, but Halo 1-3 had so many original maps. Halo 5 just seems to have lots of map options, but they’re all remixes of a few original maps. I understand they play different, but geez can’t we get more variety in how the environment looks? I just don’t get it.

Calm down we don’t know if it’s a remix or not. It looks nothing like Fathom, people are just saying that because of the fact that both maps feature “similar glass” or something. They’d make good HaloFollower content creators.
