> Does 343i really deserve all the hate they have been getting literally nonstop since this game’s release?
>
> I see people on here every single day pointing out everything they think is bad about this game and then saying “It’s obvious that 343i has no idea what they are doing and they just want to destroy Halo” What? This game definitely has its flaws don’t get me wrong, but it seems quite clear to me that they do care about Halo. They made a great new story, the soundtrack to this game is arguably one of the best (imo) and they put much more emotional weight into the characters.

> Even after their mistakes they continue to patch the game so that people will enjoy playing it.

> There are long time Halo fans here that say they are completely done with Halo forever because of this game. That’s your choice and no one is going to change that but why don’t you think about it for just a second. You are going to leave the series that you love and adore just because the first game made by 343i wasn’t as succesful as the other ones? For all the faults that this game has I think that it’s still a great game. Great campaign, multiplayer is fun.

> I can’t stand when people just jump on the hate wagon because they don’t know what’s actually wrong with the game. “Cortana died! 343i is killing Halo!!!111” “No original Halo theme? This game has forgotten what Halo is all about!”
>
> Like seriously, the bashing of 343i has gone way too far. If you find an issue with the game then point it out without looking like an offensive idiot and maybe provide an idea for an alternative or a fix if you can.
>
> I’m not a crazy fanboy mindlessly defending 343i, I’m trying to show you how mindless and negative these forums really are for the most part.
>
> You all condemned Halo after one mistake! I believe that 343i can be entrusted with this series and they can and already have been learning from their mistakes.

I haven’t checked the forums in quite a bit and found your post.
Before I stopped playing Halo 4, which I haven’t touched in months now, I was one of the players left dissatisfied with Halo 4. I ranted, discussed and dissected what I and others felt was wrong with the newest installation in the series. EVERYTHING others and I disliked about the new game was written about time and time again.
Threads discussing the problems in Halo 4 were all over the forum, the best of which garnered 120+ pages of agreements and discussion.
The people who disliked Halo 4 who cared enough to make the arguments over and over got tired of making those arguments. The game wasn’t changed. Then those that were dissatisfied quit playing and moved on. Like myself, they just stopped playing.
I probably won’t play Halo 4 multiplayer again. I tried to enjoy it, but the longer I played it the less enjoyable I felt it was. I think I was forcing myself to like it because it was new. That phase is now over.
The real sign of how badly Halo 4 has sunk my view of the franchise is that when Halo 5 comes out I will probably try to find someone who has the game already and play it before I buy it. If it is like Halo 4, I won’t buy it. Before Halo 4 the question wasn’t IF I would buy it, the question was how many hours before midnight was I showing up to buy the next Halo game.
I do not like the changes made by 343 to Halo. If you do, that is perfectly fine.
Not everyone who dislikes Halo 4 has a burning hatred of 343. 343 owns the property now, they can make changes as they see fit. I’m just not going to buy their product.
