This cant be a halo 4 forum...

I mean really… If you take halo out of all the threads this sounds like some unbalanced, sub-par, halfhearted, rushed, half completed, broken, bland, not-so space shooter that didn’t even deserve the sales it got and only achieved those numbers by deception and one hell of a lucky company/legacy acquisition. Not to mention the show of how proud the devs are of the success achieved ie; being completely absent from the community.

Seriously, the complaining and moaning here makes the halo community seem like a bunch of refugees forgotten and left to fester in some -Yoink!- incineration room that stopped working halfway through the baking process.

Imho we all need to sack up and either do something radically different by the end of this year to show 343i how we really feel or just get over ourselves and sell back our copy of halo 4 so at least the Xmas noobs can save 10$ before the better half of them realize what they bought into…

I personally can’t make the extensive commitment to wholly organize such a statement but if anyone is available and has the credibility / know-how to do so I will gladly lend what time I have to help drum up support.

One idea would be to follow in the footsteps of the mass effect community and do something like they did with the cupcakes…

Things like that made changes happen though, I’m all for original ideas.

Btw any criticism that may come through this thread is appreciated, so long as you all choose beforehand to be on the love or the hate side of this relationship with 343i.

Halo, as we know it, is dead. Cupcakes or not.

Move on.

I would laugh if the community sent them boiled eggs.

I personally love this game and agree that instead of coming to a forum that 343 almost never views to complain to countless fans who love the game should just turn their copy in and bury their pride.

Isn’t this like 343’s first game? Either way I’ll at least give the January updates a try before I quit.

My feelings exactly, I just couldn’t sit any longer with out putting forth some kind of call to action.

Negativity is fine, so long as you make something of it in a respectable way.

I didn’t even do this for Reach, which was a competitive gamer’s nightmare. I at least saw through it’s faults and enjoyed it as a casual game to just have fun with. Of course that example isn’t supposed to make it sound like I don’t think Halo 4 is competitive (I believe it is extremely competitive) I’m just saying that if you don’t like things in a game either get rid of the game or think about the things you do like.

I treated reach just as I did odst and the ce remake. They were not true halo productions and as such never came close to the respect that previous titles will ever get.

twitch tv… halo 3 had more viewers than halo 4 ealier today…

halo is dead…mainly cause 343 is non existant in their own community…

You just described every main stream Halo game when its been released except CE. People went insane when Halo 2 released, Halo2sucks.com anyone? Halo 3 had a lot of whiny people when it released too, about the same as Halo 4. Most of the time it was “you’ve ruined Halo, the core gameplay is gone!” when Halo 3 released (because of Equipment). And then a TU came and suddenly, everyone is happy and its better then buttered bread.

Halo 2, 3, and 4 have a lot of problems from launch and a beta doesn’t do -Yoink- because Halo 2 had a closed beta and it still was horrible when launched and Halo 3 had two betas and people still -Yoinked!- because it was so glitchy and had so many problems. Halo 4 requires a TU that fixes a lot of the problems and then most people will treat it better then popped corn.

This “Halo is dead” garbage is so old. Can you explain why the majority of the community said Halo was dead when Halo 2 released? Can you please explain that? I could care less about what you said there and then! I want to know why the majority of the ocmmunity said Halo 2 ruined Halo when it was released!
