I’ve been a big fan of the original Halo games ever since the release of MCC on PC, and like many others was hoping that this game would be a return to the classic feel. Unfortunately this isn’t it for me. I am fine with the toned down sprint being in the game, but the big deal breaker is sliding. To me it feels straight out of MW2019. There’s also a ton of markers, flashes, etc on screen and it makes the matches overly confusing. The maps are alright and the guns feel punchy but the pace of the game doesn’t feel like the classics. I am glad that people are enjoying it and I think for fans of the 343i games Infinite will be great, but so far I’m not feeling it.
