Third Sangheili poem for school.

Hello, my teachers made me have to do another poem again, so me being the nerd i am i immediately decided to do one about Sangheili. The requirements for this poem was that it had to be a Shakespearean sonnet about love… any kind of love. Now they say there is no harsher critic than the one who created the piece, and i’ll be honest i don’t really like this poem… but hey my teacher loved it, i got a 100% for it lol.

if you’re curious about the other two poems my school had me do, here they are.

here is the first one i did last year, this poem was just supposed to be anything that came to mind. (the final version is a few posts down.)

and here is the second one they had me do, this was done last semester and was required to be a Villanelle.

and now here is the third one my school has had me do.

A Warriors Life.
Newborn hatchlings are warriors at birth.
And so they remain warriors in death.
Until they take their last steps on the earth.
And as warriors draw their final breath.

All of them are born and raised for battle.
Battle drives our wills, it is what we love.
Our enemies always flock like cattle.
And meet their heretical gods above.

Humanity is but a parasite.
But their kind feeds our races love for war.
And soon their warriors feel our swords bite.
When the ground is decorated with gore.

Our fallen warriors are set alight.
Sent to Urs and his everlasting light.

Good one dude.

This was good dude
