Does anyone else really wish that Halo 4 gives the OPTION to remain in first person view while performing assassinations, using heavy weapons, and operating vehicles?
I know most people don’t mind the switch to third person view, but for me its very immersion breaking. Plus I think assassinations and heavy weapons would just be a lot cooler in first person view. Also, if you’ve played Half-Life 2, you’d see that driving vehicles in first person is not only doable, but quite fun as well.
Anyway, I don’t think that third person view should be removed of course. I’d just like the OPTION to remain in first person at all times.
Ok first off, driving in Half Life 2 was a pain in the -Yoink-. Secondly, I agree it would be cool if they allowed for this option but you would be at a total disadvantage in multiplayer.

Lol… There was a fairly steep learning curve, but once you got the hang of it, it was fun.
Maybe the options could specify. So you could remain in first person for assassinations and heave weapons, but go to third person for vehicles.

as far as assassinations go its already an option. as far as vehicles it would be more trouble to me than its worth.
