So I’m thinking of buying the console, but I’m having a few issues.
Right now it would be a huge waste of money quite frankly, considering that I have the Gears of War 3 xbox, which is perfectly fine.
But there are some benefits that come from purchasing it I guess.
For starters, it’s a great deal. Considering I have a 50$ gift card to gamestop that lowers the price down to 300$. Back to the great deal, I get everything included in the deal. I’m assuming everyone knows by now what is included, but if not I will edit this post and say what is.
Also, if needed, I can trade in a few things to lower the price a little bit more. Even though that is a huge scam to trade things into gamestop.
On top of that, my cousin get’s back from boarding school after being there for 10 months and I can give him the standard copy of the game that is included as a welcome back gift.
well my xbox is dying, and its what in HD space, like 350 GB(roundish) and i can sell the extra copy of the game im getting, so ya i just needed a new xbox, only reason i got it to be truthful about it.
That last little caveat about it being a gift throws a monkey wrench in there friend. I would be hard pressed to trade in a great gift like that for something else, especially one from my father. However, if you don’t have that many scruples, the big draw for me was the hard drive space and the built in wireless connection. Really frees up space for me to place the box on any TV and not worry about stringing cable all over the house.

Well, I don’t know where you live, but here in the UK, GAME are doing a Trade-in deal where if you trade in your Xbox 360 Slim, then you can have the Halo 4 Console for £100, instead of £270
I already have the LE comming, so I will sell the SE copy of Halo 4 for £40 (because that how much it is here new).
Then my friend is buying one of the controllers and the headset for £35 and £10 respectively.
40 + 35 + 10 = 85
100 - 85 = 15
So all in all, it will have cost me £15 to upgrade to the new console.
To be quite honest with you, I think that is ABSOLUTELY F***ING AMAZING!!! Link to their site if you want it

You might want to look at that link again and re-read it.
If you do this you only get a regular slim console with 250GB hard drive and a standard copy of the game. Halo 4 console has 320GB. Plus you have to trade in an elite system to even get this offer.

I live in the US, gamestop has a different promotion with trade ins.
I just called in right now and they couldn’t give me any prices over the phone. But they said if you trade in any systems (not handheld) you get an extra 50$.
Right now, I am thinking of trading in my current xbox, although I’m a little iffy because it was a gift from my dad. Which I am very grateful for, and feel sort of bad if I traded it in for this new one.
A nintendo dsi, which I don’t need considering I have one of the Ds’s that play gameboy games.
And a 5 or 6 games that I can get an extra 30% bonus on each if I trade them in.

Oh, use the arrow icons at the side of the promotion, it scrolls through a bunch of them, its there alright.

Nope, wouldn’t get it in that case. I’ve got a perfectly good halo reach xbox too. Only way I’d bother getting the new one is if I traded my current one for credit towards it, and sold all the extra content. Only reason I’m not gonna bother is because of the hassle of transferring all the content on my hard drive. Not to mention the only appealing thing in the deal for me is a couple new controllers.
My personal reasons to buy
320GB space
Exclusive dlc
Sweet controllers
Halo themed
Seems like a deal
I sold my old first gen 360 last year when I was unemployed and bills had to be paid.
Reasons I was resistant.
Angry wife (lol)
keep hearing things about a new xbox
the money
I work ALLOT so it won’t get used often
Had to buy a new entertainment stand to match it
In the end the halo fanboy in me won out, its a good thing I have a wife that understands and bought me the halo 4 tritton warheads for my bday
