I can’t see myself playing only Halo 5 for the next year until 6 comes out, so I was wondering if it is worth buying MCC? H2A looks great but:
- How is the population?
- Should I wait until they “fix” it?
Thanks

Why wait for H6 and not play H5?
Lots of things to do on MCC. Both campaign and multi player. Lots of scoring to do.
I’m getting back into Halo and doing all the campaigns then going after the achievements.
Fix what?

Population is fairly stable, except for a few playlists. And there are a few bugs, but I’ve encountered nothing gamebreaking. MCC is a great game and I enjoy it, but if you want it then be sure to buy it pre-owned. Hope that answered your questions.
I’ll be honest, the MCC is not broken at all. Yeah you’ll get a few bugs here and there every once in a while but for the most part the game works great. And almost every game mode I play have a decent population. And finally i’m going to be dead serious with you, if you’re hoping to waste some time before halo 6 comes out then halo 5 is NOT the way to go, you will burn yourself out in at least a week and then the game will feel stale. The mcc on the other hand will provide you with hours and hours of fun.
What people tell you about how ‘broken’ the MCC is will vary from one person to another. Some will tell you that there are no problems at all, while others will say the game is still full of bugs and glitches. Typically, issues related to population depend on which playlist you’re searching in. In the lesser populated playlists, you may find yourself waiting a very long time, and/or being paired with the same players match after match. There are also issues with co-op campaign, particularly online, where the game will fail to connect and freeze for both players. Those are the main issues with the game right now. I say that if you can find it for $20 or less, go ahead and get it.
I never had problems with MCC I am actually almost done with all the achievements just need to do 2 more Laso’s. The game does have it’s ups and downs and some playlists are dead or severely low population, I mainly play it for the campaign really.
You should pick it up. Even if you’re unsure about multiplayer, there’s plenty of Campaign gameplay and achievements to hunt while waiting for the Spring 2018 update
Do yourself a favor and don’t.
Just wait until it’s patched next year and ONLY after you see some reviews of the 2018 patch.
Just because they’re having a giant makeover for the game doesn’t mean it’ll be successful.
Well worth it if it’s cheap. Should be since its been out a while. Lots of campaigning to do…

I’ll be joining you mate, will be starting MCC in about 4 weeks after Santa drops in…
Go for it. The campaigns are worth it. Just be ready for a whole day of downloading updates!
Pick up MCC for sure. This game has more replay value than any game out there for me personally. I have been into other games lately, but I know I’ll beat all these campaigns many more times in the years to come.

Instead you should jerk off with sand paper because that would be more enjoyable then paying money for a broken piece if dog -Yoink- that to this day does not work properly. Also, uninstall halo 5, break the disc and never buy anything 343 does ever again.

Except that you can’t actually “hunt” (what a dumb word) for all the achievements since 343 gave up on updating the game and there are multiple glitched achievements.
You ate on a halo forum…so you must be a fan. You have nothing tonloose of you buy it other than enjoying what mcc has to offer. The game in its current state is fine. It will improve with the next update, but fine now.

If your joking or being sarcastic then lol. If not then why is 343 fixing it next year and why did Bonnie Ross apologize for the MCC debacle?
So, do you have to purchase the xbox x to get the fixed up version of the MCC? What a bargain! >snerk<
I have zero problems from the mcc it works fine for me
Its takes me bout 1 min to find btb at peak hours and 30sec for team slayer so i think it has a good population
There are many things you can do in mcc, it’s a great game to play with your friends too

Its not broken to the point thats it is unplayable in its current state is what I am saying. Its a different game from launch…I did say game in its current state…
