Why don’t you people at 343 create a forge map pack. 3 maps meant for forge, 3 that aren’t complete crap like the 3 “forge” maps we start with. It would sell quite well! Not everybody likes to play matchmaking, a lot of people actually like making their own unique maps and unique game types. The awful forge maps and their bad forge objects and the unnecessary, slaughtering, transformation of infection to flood has almost destroyed custom games. There are a few really good games, yes, removing the infection game type was stupid. Both flood and infection can coexist, but I’m sure matchmaking and Spartan ops are keeping everyone oh so busy (since you only recently fixed the file browser, even though it has been there from day one, which is quite lazy on your part). I could give a few problems I have and since I have over 6000 characters left, I will.
There is no one flag CTF option; no forced color option for any of the game types; there is no assault or territories or race game types; all the maps have kill boundaries in places that they shouldn’t be at during forge, they can be there for matchmaking; the warthog sounds awful; there are no flying/land transport vehicles; all the civilian vehicles from Reach should be accessible; there is no golf club gravity hammer; the magnet system is useless; no weapon holders; the thruster pack and jet pack blow, while the auto sentry is useless. That is all I can think of at the moment but there is more.
I know some of those things are nit picky but they would make the game more fun. After beating the campaign, I’ve had no desire to play this game, apart from friends asking pleading for me to play. I know that me and a lot of other people you appreciate some of these things, notably, the 2 things from the paragraph. Do the right thing. Think, 343, think!
