Halo 5 had an alright run. The multiplayer was pretty good, the campaign was mid depending on how you looked at it, There were many game modes, and the forge was expansive. What features from Halo 5 would you like to see crossed over into infinite? Aside from the things shown in the tech preview
Honestly I’m not even sure what from halo 5 should come over. Halo infinite so far seems good. I guess a halo 5 type expansive forge but more expansive. I love the custom games on Halo 5.
I liked most of it minus the entire campaign, spartan charge, and the lack of interesting maps.
For sure the things I would like to see return are vehicle seat swapping, Hannibal vehicles, and the phaeton
Other then warzone I can’t remember much about it. I got all the achievements and never looked back.

I just finished playing the campaign again and thought it was good. Haven’t played through it in probably 4 or so years. It was absolutely misadvertised and I think that’s still massively disappointing, but take out the expectations and it’s not a bad game.
I would like to see Castle Wars make a return in Infinite. I also enjoyed some of the announcer voice options and some of the emblems, like Clippy and MS DOS. There were a lot of fun Action Sack gametypes that I would like to see included as well.
It’s terribly unpopular, but I also like the map Regret a lot. I’d like to see that one return.
Infections games. I loved a lot the Infection games in Halo 5. I hope that 343 give to Halo Infinite good games of Infection was on Halo 5.
Few things at the top of my head I would say are that I liked WZFF (delivery could’ve been a little better but still fun), I really like the way the light rifle shoots feels really beefy when zoomed in, and although the campaign for the most part sucked two things in it I did enjoy was being on Sanghelios and when Cortana betrayed chief, you could just feel the betrayal in chief after really trying to convince her to come back.
the shootings are fantastic

I enjoyed regret a lot too!.
I enjoyed the level of bullet magnetism/aim assist in H5.
I loved having so many different req variants of weapons and vehicles. The number of weapons and vehicles in the sandbox was crazy big.
Warzone gamemode was pretty fun.
Super fiesta gamemode (in particular husky raid) was always a blast
H5 swat was also really enjoyable.
H5 multiplayer in general was great.
I love the advanced mobility and I regret so much disappear in Halo infinite.
Infection Contingency is my favorite game
I would like team snipe be a permanent game mode in infinity
Definitely, Super fiesta, the halo 5 magnum, and yes the boost, we need something to defend against melee attacks and nades.
I liked the forge in halo five as it was well done and want a more expansive forge in halo infanite. I also liked the campaign as it was not bad but not exceptional. What I liked most in halo five was the ability to change the helmet and armor and I want infinite to expand on this.

I enjoyed the level of bullet magnetism and aim assist in Halo 5, but that was a heavy change when I tested Halo infinite, because there is less magnetism and aim asssist, even playing with the Xbox One. I will miss the aim assist of H5

Same i struggled in the flight too
I didn’t really like Halo 5. On its own, 5 is an okay game. Just doesn’t compare to the greats by Bungie. Campaign wise, it doesn’t make sense, and it was broken in several places. You could skip the last Warden fight. Kinda defeated all of that buildup for an intense fight.
There were a few things I enjoyed in 5. Super Fiesta and the gameplay itself. I forced myself through the game because its part of Halo’s story. I got all of 5’s achievements so unless 343 adds more or if something drastically changes, I can’t see myself coming back.
- I wish thrusting would stay, but looks like that’s out the door (why did they keep sprint but make it only barely faster than walking?). - Tapping A to swap seats in Halo 5 is so nice and seriously needs to come back. - I like the “stamina” meter above the shields that shows how long you have to wait until your shields recharge. Sure, now that you can sprint and recharge your shields at the same time, maybe it’s not so useful, but I enjoyed it, along with the consistent audio-visual cues that it was working … but given how long little stuff like that takes to get just right, I won’t cry if the cues aren’t in. - Hitmarkers are good. Maybe take them out of campaign, but for multiplayer, please, keep it. Especially like the indicators for “critical hit” for Firefight. - Halo 5 didn’t have this, but Infinite seriously needs audio options to turn up or down volume.
