So, my one big hope is that 343 moves back to some of the traditional looking armor. Reach had a very good selection, and it all looked very much like you would expect from Halo. Halo Four, however, had many, many suits that looked nonsensical. The few that actually made it from the move from Reach didn’t even look like the originals.
Also, ordinance drops need to be outed for the original weapon spawns. I think personal ordinance would be good for certain gametypes, but overall need to be excluded as well.
Armor enhancements should also be removed. Perks like that belong well in Call of Duty, but they are not something most traditional Halo players cared for.
Lastly, armor Abilities… I do have mixed feelings. They worked pretty well in Reach, and I do prefer them over the deplorable equipment from 3, I think… I think Reach’s were better balanced, but whether or not they are included, I think 343’s multiplayer research from MCC should decide.

Sorry dude they aren’t not gonna be in Halo 5 they’re replaced by Spartan abilities.
Here’s my top 3
-
Elites, hunched or Upright don’t care let me have em’.
-
Primary weapon selection, let me spawn with my AR please
-
Spartan Abilities, I want the community to see this so they can judge if this mechanic is in or not.

I agree with this first paragraph.
If you showed me Halo Reach and Halo 4 armour side by side, I’d say Halo Reach was the newer game. It looked childish/like a cartoon. I don’t understand why they went for that look. I hope it changes back for Halo 5 (like a lot of things…).
It wont happen, but the only way I would buy Halo 5 is if they went back to the original gameplay. Now that MCC is coming out and I have ce-3 again though, I probably wont bother even picking up h5

If you placed H3 and Reach side by side, I would say 3 was newer. The lighting just fit.
OT: I want to see player models for elites, or if the Plasma Rifle makes a return at least as a sidearm, if we get pre-set loadouts.

Marked
We’ll see if you stay true to your word
New vehicle possibilites.
As in, driving the pelican. I would love to see BTB return to its glory days like it was in 2 and 3.
A more competitive setting, to put it simply.
I know I am going to get a ton of flack for this but I want sprint or at least a toggle for it. Sprint with a few small changes fits perfectly fine in Halo. Going back to Halo 3 feels slow to me and sprint is really neded for bigger campaign levels.
Im just curious to see what “arena multiplayer” is defined as by 343i and what new abilities we have. That trailer left me with a lot of questions and a glimpse of hope. I remain skeptical until I play the beta.
I liked the Armor Abilities in Reach, but not Halo 4.
I agree that we should get to see what Spartan Abilities are. I am thinking they could be a hybrid of AA’s and something else.
I would love for them to keep the Assassinations I like those.
I don’t know if this is a good idea, but I’d like to see that added element of badassery of a Spartan in the sense of hand to hand combat. Maybe not in Halo 5 but maybe in a spinoff of Halo.
I would love to have the custom option of starting with no weapons. I have some map idea’s I’d love to try with that.
Yes bring back the Elites.
Bring back Firefight, Invasion, Regicide, and Spartan’s vs Elites.
Keep Sprint. Halo 4 version (I think).
Keep Team Killing turned off. I loved that feature in Halo 4.
I guess most of this doesn’t apply to the ‘Beta’ part. Sorry about that.

Actually, min think sprint was one of the better things taken from Reach. It is a good tactical ability, and by making it default in Halo 4, it helped give players a better chance of surviving, which should be the goal of anyone playing… To survive for as long as possible and get as many kills in that time.

Haha… No more RvB for you.
It is cool, but it isn’t really in Halo’s style, and frankly I don’t see how it could even be made in an FPS.

I still think that sprint stays and more default movement abilities are added. For example what would amount to a double jump, slide mechanic, and other movement overhauls.

3/4 isn’t bad. AAs didn’t really matter as much in Halo 4 as they did in Reach, which I view as a good thing; I can accept them as combat enhancers, but they certainly shouldn’t be an unfairly large factor in how a one-on-one ends.
And I’m all for Loadouts, or at least primary weapon selection (Magnum secondary works). Also the removal of perks, but I insist on an ammo bump for starters; I have to keep using ammo because the AR can’t hold as many clips as the older models, and scavaging is a pain in the -Yoink-.
Also: I want to see Elites on the field again. Hunched like Halo 2, balanced with Spartans, equal customization with Spartans, not Halo 4’s design, and a new Covie sidearm in place of a Magnum, if my earlier ideas were applied.
More than just BRs only 24/7.
Dual-wielding. Pew Pew! Magnums or pistols, whatever kids are calling it now a days.
