Things to do when Halo 4 comes out.

What will your Halo 4 night be like? This is mine:

Prepare a night of Pizza and enjoyable beverages.
Carefully examine and enjoy every aspect of the LE Halo 4 bundle
Put in codes from game (get them out the way so I can simply play).
Cry tears of joy while the opening screen of Halo 4 comes up.
Play campaign Co-op Legendary.
Go insane over the fact I’ve just completed Halo 4.
Wake up in a tree confused and scarred but happy about the fact I’ve just played Halo 4.
Worry about getting home.

I know this might sound a bit over the top but I haven’t enjoyed a good night of playing a new released epic looking game since Reach.

Before putting the first disc in for campaign ill put in disc 2 first to install multiplayer then put in disc 1.

I will have a limo waiting outside of wherever I buy H4, so I can hop in it and start playing H4 immediately after I buy it. I will also ask the limo driver to pick up some strippers so they can play co-op with me. LOL

But the problem is getting good ones who wont hold you back. Certainly any good ones will be at home playing their own copies ;D

I’m playing Assassin’s Creed III when it comes out, then I’ll be perfectly fine until Nov. 6th.

  • Go to midnight launch.

  • Get home with LE. Open it up and explore the contents.

  • Play the campaign until completed (not all in one night).

  • I won’t install the multiplayer or download the codes until I’ve completed campaign.

  • Once I have, I will then embark on my Spartan IV career.

The rest as they say, is history… Especially my degree!*

*It’s funny cause I do a History degree

bet no one does what they plan. I’m talking about the serious ones. i always say I’m going to do this and that but never do. Once i play the game it pulls me every which way. I get lost till morning been that way every midnight release.

^ How did you find my list of Halo night activities?

I have to say I was totaly serious in my list. While it might not happen like that, that is how I want to spend my evening and a lot of it is me taking into account the affect Halo will have on my brain.

Isn’t it obvious?
No, I am not Phycic. I’ve just been stalking you…

Redeem all codes, rub and tweak on my -Yoink!- while I wait for the two discs to install… have a nervous breakdown and then play till I get a migraine.

Be sure the days following you get plenty of fluids, exercise, and sunlight.

Even though, for most us, thats not happening.

If I manage to get the game on November 6th, I’ll do my homework. Then, insert the disc into the disc drive, install the game discs. Load up the game, and bam, I’m playing Halo 4…

If you play through the entire campaign when it comes out you might be missing out on some XP. H4 still has challenges like in Reach so if there’s not initially a challenge up for campaign on Nov. 6, you’ll have to play through campaign again to complete the campaign challenge(s) if they appear a week later. Just sayin’

While you make a valid point, I am willing to mis some challenges in order to enjoy the experience that is the CAMPAIGN. War Games can come afterwoulds.

Why don’t you do your homework whilst the disk is installing? I mean it’s 8GB that’s sure to take a while. Unless I’m missing something…

I’m gonna savor it this time. I’m not rushing through the campaign, especially on how long it takes for a studio to make one of these games. Nope, I’m opening it up and I’m going to go through all the options and find what works best for me. I might jump into a forge map just to get used to the movements with the new AAs and weapons, testing rate of fire, reload times, and range. How much they’ll impede visuals, or as they situational awareness when on the screen and when being fired.

After that I’m playing a few rounds of Spartan Ops, checking frame rates and what the lag is like. It’ll be fun going in blind with everyone not knowing what’s coming over the hill. After that well it’s time to get some chinese food and sit down with family and play some campaign.

Then before bed I’m coming here to watch the train wreck between the white knights and trolls sure to implode the forum. Ahhh what a party.

I don’t know if i’ll be able to go through everything in the LE to begin with. I’ll just wanna play the game! I’ll save the codes/LE stuff and installing multiplayer disc till after I beat the campaign

If I’m still alive after the upcoming hurricane/snow storm/cold front…

Then I shall sweep the debris away and viciously play Halo 4.

Oh I can’t wait for that ^ this place is gonna be hilarious come launch.

Hopefully on the levels of what happened with Halo 2, there were people who loved it and then there were the uber trolls that hated it yet strangely enough couldn’t stop playing it lol.
