This is not for things like bloom, armor abilities, etc. This thread is for aspects that really have no debate, things that are just wrong with the game.
My List:
-The 5 second assist rule. Why does it matter how long ago the damage was done?
-Disappearing grenades in forge world. Grenades have the tendency to just disappear when they land on certain forge world objects.
-Theater. Parties and rewind.
-Objects moving in forge. After restarting a forged map, many objects will rotate or move slightly and cause major annoyances for forgers.

I’m saying change the entire system. As it stands, if a player kills someone more than 5 seconds after you did the damage, you don’t get the assist. After 5 seconds, the player has not healed from your damage, so there really is no reason for this. The assist cut off should be when the player you dealt damage to has healed beyond the amount of damage required for you to get an assist in the first place.
Forge will most likely improve regardless. The assist system is fine. What needs to be done is the betrayal system needs to be fixed. And the the pistols need their glory back, I didn’t like 3 or Reach’s pistol. CE or 2 will be fine. And a better campaign, Reach’s was fine, but every other one was better.

Not really what I’m looking for. This thread is more for non-debatable problems. I too wish for 4 to differ greatly from Reach, but this isn’t the place to discuss those ideas.
Woah, i never knew there were people that thought Reach’s assist system is fine, it’s really terrible. You should not have to get your kill stolen to be able to receive an assist.
In multiplayer, when I hit the back button, I want to see my score, my kills, my deaths, assists, and objective related points. Also, a toggle mute system as fast as CoD’s would be nice.
Matchmaking needs to be faster. By faster, I mean that I want to be able to leave and join lobbies in shorter times.
Team damage needs to be removed from non-MLG/ranked playlists. I am tired of picking up a power weapon just to be team-killed/ griefed by some immature 12 year old who thinks he is more entitled to the weapon than me. As a whole, the betrayal system is glitchy and inconsistent. Earlier today I was beat down from full health by a teammate, but wasn’t given the option to boot them. Next spawn, I jacked a warthog and got control, but the hog was still moving so I ran over a teammate by accident and was booted.
They need to fix their UI for looking up player’s stats out of game. I want to easily see everything one would probably be curious about on the front page of their service record (K/D, W/L, rank, what their spartan looks like, maybe even weekly, monthly, and total K/D)
Players need to be able to join games in progress. Quitters are a huge problem, and I want to play with a whole team.
As for weapons and the campaign, well, I trust 343 to do a good job. Lord knows Bungie did both those things terribly in Reach.
