Things to avoid In Halo 4 From Other Halo Games

There has been a lot of talk about that H4 should follow the design of the previous trilogy but (believe it or not) none of those games were perfect. There are many things which need to be avoided which come from the original trilogy. Here in my opinion are a few:

The halo 3 sniper rifle: Me suggesting to avoid this beast seems mad at first and to understand what I mean you’ll probably have to go back to H3 and use the Srifle in multiplayer. It feels weird, very fluidy and hard to use. Some might argue that this is a good thing and it takes more skill to use but I personally prefer the rifle in Halo reach or CE anniversary

Halo CE style grenades: Good in the campaign, living hell in multiplayer. The plasma grenade takes 3 seconds to explode which is extremely frustrating. The fragmentation grenade is also far too powerful.

Halo 2 grenade pouch: 4 of each type of grenade in multiplayer? I don’t think so

The DMR: Universally hated, the infamous replacement for the BR. It goes without saying that bloom in rifles should never return

The Reach sword: An energy sword should not be able to be blocked as it frustrates players

The Halo CE pistol: Another good in campaign but not in multiplayer idea. Giving a pistol a three shot kill makes the game too fast paced and the very idea is farcical. Don’t get me wrong I love the pistol but its too powerful for online

The Reach ranking system: Skill is not rewarded

Lots of armour abilities: They destroy the flow of the game and frustrate players. Keep Jetpack and Sprint at the most. Armour abilities can however work in certain gametypes such as invasion

The return of lots of old vehicles, weapons and maps: This new Halo has to stand on its own 2 feet and feel individual to other Halo games. The warthog should come back without saying but not too much old stuff
